Sicilian Pasta Kitchen Downtown
I visited the Sicilian P.K. restaurant with a large table of work colleagues at the end of October 2018. We all ordered various pasta dishes and the consensus was pretty positive. I personally ordered the lasagna which was absolutely huge and delicious. The server was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The restaurant customers dressed fairly casually and the atmosphere was professional but pretty laid back so this is a decent place to hang out over a meal to chat up friends over a couple of hours or more. I would have loved to sample some of the desserts but I was immensely full after the meal.

The food was mediocre. Recommend the white sauce dishes over the red sauces. Not the best in the city.

On 25th of May 2023 we had a dinner reservation for party of 5. From the very start our dinner service after we had the pleasure of meeting a very personable server by the name of Fernando. This gentleman’s helpful dinner selection advise and willingness to fulfill our specific requests made our special occasion even more enjoyable. We all agreed that our dinner selections were absolutely delicious and the service provided was efficient and without fault. Had a large birthday party here with at least 16 people and our server was amazing. She did a great job with the orders and kept up with refilling drinks and clearing dishes. Not one mistake! I wish I had got her name, she deserves a raise! Our food was great, needed some seasoning but it was all cooked perfectly according to the consensus. My dish was good but the chicken was slightly dry and over cooked. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Amazing environment, not very loud or crowded. Food was amazing. Recommend asking for bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side.

Amazing food!!! Mussel appetizer was absolutely incredible. Main course best I ever tasted, they gave me the opportunity to choose a different sauce, great portions. You won't leave disappointed or hungry. Totally worth the visit! Waiter Fernando was fantastic so smooth and professional. Definitely will be back!!!

This is our second time here and it was even more underwhelming than the first.Service was pretty good and quite accommodating as my elderly mother required some patients, which our server had plenty of. Food - bread comes out and it was dry/stale, but they did provide a whole bunch of those little butter things, so… the bruschetta was very bitter and much of that dish was left behind. The aranchini prepared well and tasted great. The dinner - came out close to 45 mins after the appetizer plates were cleared. I did notice about 35 minutes in, that there were plates in the warning station that were sitting for quite a while, and yup, those were ours. I ordered the carbonara. Definitely not what I was hoping for. I had expected a nice creamy sauce, but instead was presented with bits of scrambled egg (see photo). Very disappointed and I took one star off for the server to not catch this or to try and pass it off as legit. The other meals were pretty good and all the portions were substantial. I don’t think we’ll be coming back. For a third time.

So so food for taste but ample quantity.. Server, a young woman, was excellent; attentive yet not obtrusive. Atmosphere a little too bright and open for that old-world, Italian ambience. Local beer selection too limited.
