Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto 多倫多佛光山

It’s a beautiful and serene temple . I visited the temple for the first time and I feel like coming here again. The staff are very courteous and answered all queries I had on Buddhist temple and activities organized by the temple. There is book store inside the temple , if you are interested in reading on the teachings on Buddhism , you must visit . There is tea shop also inside the temple however i missed going in there .

Loved this temple . Good for meditation . On the second floor you can also explore museum with various sculptures from Japan and China .

the temple is very elegant, tranquil, beautiful. Everything is perfect for mind. I love to visit the temple much.

the vegan noodles in this temple are delicious and well worth coming for the Chinese / Buddhist culture, especially the Chinese New Year.

Beautiful temple—love coming here! Beyond their traditional services, they always have festivals and performances going on; creating a great atmosphere and sense of community. Their facilities are well maintained and have several shops and a museum upstairs.

Excellent place to meditate and spend relaxing time, unfortunately Mask is still Mandatory.There is a museum, library and a little store.The schedules are Tuesday to Sunday.

It is worth mentioning that membership is required to dine in the tea house, offering an exclusive atmosphere to its patrons.Moreover, the establishment offers various classes, including yoga sessions. These classes are exclusively available to members, requiring registration through the membership program. The dedicated and compassionate venerables in the temple are readily available to assist visitors, and some of them are proficient in English.Additionally, even if you are not a member, there is no need to worry as you can conveniently register for membership directly at the counter. This makes it accessible for everyone to enjoy the privileges and offerings of the tea house and participate in the various classes and activities available.Overall, this visit proved to be a highly enriching and rewarding experience for me.

I love Fo Guang Shan temple the moment I walked into the temple. The feeling of leaving behind all the business and worries, and just stayed in those quiet moments while admiring the ambience of peacefulness, calmness of the Buddha world. I chose this to be my favorite temple in town and my go to place for my spiritual services. P.s. I would recommend checking out the shop too, always have some good things to bring home.
