Jim's Mowing Vancouver

I tried using this company for a year - the work was less than satisfactory and they charge top dollar. I had to finish the job after they left every-time. You cant reach anyone by phone, when I was finally able to cancel their services on-line and told them why, I never heard from anyone. There are better lawn care companies out there.

We have been using Peter's services for a couple of years for lawn cutting and have had an excellent experience. They are responsive, pleasant, timely and do a good job. We also call on them for yearly leaf clearing and have found our interactions and the service to be excellent. I highly recommend Peter and his team.

my dad got a verbal quote for job next day. a worker came by the next day amd when he handed my fad thr bill was eay more than the quote. the worker took a picture of the bill and we haven't heard from anyone in 3 weeks since the job. not happy

Peter and his team do a fabulous job keeping the lawns looking neat, tidy and healthy. I was so happy to have found this service and not have to be doing it myself anymore. Reasonably priced and so worth it. Hats off to Nicola in the office too for being so easy to work with on the billing side. Thank you guys!

Noise pollution! The noisiest gas powered mowers, weed wackers, leaf blowers around! Horrendous noise. Why don’t you use battery packs? I’m going to ask my neighbour to use a low noise service.

Unreliable franchise owner.Worked as a supervisor/foreman/lead hand/labour/... for a couple weeks and i realize that there was no respect to the clients or the employees.The quality of the service that he demand to provide is awful.He isnt follow any kind of safety rules, making work for this franchise totally unsafe!The trucks that he owns are old and without service, make them dangerous on the road.Who ever is working there, double check your hours every time!(Person with issues and bad attitude.Bad management and poor landscaping knowledge. He thinks that he knows everything but unfortunately he doesn't have even basic skills!!)Stay away from Vancouver/Burnaby franchises since he runs them...

I used Peter’s franchise for a year and a half and have been really happy with their work. They are self-sufficient, respectful and quick. I highly recommend them for trouble-free, reliable lawn maintenance

I had heard really good things about the jims franchise, so i decided to give jims Vancouver a shot. Turns out this was a big mistake. After getting through to them to come give a quote, the owner of the vancouver location called and gave a window of when they were to qoute us. After the time passed with no sign of them, i called the owner twice, and left a voicemail. with no response, Finally i called the franchise HQ to find out what was going on, to which they told me he was supposed to be in touch. A few Hours later we still hadn't heard back, so i called again and they said he would come the next day. We texted him during the morning and he said he will not come until he knows why we complained. After calling him to see if there was a misunderstanding, he insisted that i had not called or texted him, and that because we were upset with his communication, he did not wish to service us. I am not sure the quality of their work, but i can Tell you that unless you are not on a schedule, and you dont care to actually know whats going on, then this place is a waste of time.
