Perfect way to tour the entire Cabot Trail. Harry was the best tour guide: knowledgeable, humorous, and personable.

We enjoyed a Fantastic day with the Cabot Discovery Tours. The rain chased us all over the trail, the sky was amazing & the wind was tremendous. We went on a few little side trips where we got out and walked; to places that would not have found on our own. Misty drew on her considerable knowledge about Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail to educate us and respond to our questions. We enjoyed her stories, the drive, her tips and suggestions and overall - we had the best day :).

We had the pleasure of touring the Cabot Trail with Frank and had a perfect day! He was so knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Cabot Discovery Tours. Their vans and guides are top notch! 5+ Stars!

Worth it. I recommend this tour if you're looking to see the Cabot Trail highlights in a day. Frank was our tour guide and he was great. If you're on the fence whether to drive yourself or this, do yourself a favour and take the tour.

We had a wonderful time and were very appreciative of our tour guide, Frank, narrative and knowledge of the Cabot Trail.Originally we had planned to travel the Cabot Trail in our 31' RV. I cannot begin to express our gratitude to have the chance to sit back and enjoy the beauty of Cape Breton with Frank as our guide.There are many stops along the trail for picture taking. We also stopped for lunch, a coffee stop, and wash room stops.We had a fabulous time.An additional thank you goes out for allowing us to bring our dog, Radar, along the Cabot Trail!

We couldn’t have been happier with our Cabot Discovery Tour of the Cabot Trail. Misty our guide was super knowledgeable about local history, geography, geology, etc, and pretty much answered any question we came up with. The scenery was spectacular, and she took us to some very cool spots that were off the typical tourist routes. This is our first time to Bras d’Or and Cape Breton, and this tour was definitely a highlight!

We were on a cruise stop in Sydney and arranged with Cabot Tours their Taste of Sydney Tour. Rather than going outside of the city, we decided to explore the town. Misty and Frank met us right as the cruise ship dock and off we went. Our first stop was the Jost House and our guide, Jay, did a remarkable job of bringing the history of the 1764 house to life. It was then on to a cidery to sample what was on tap. Our next stop was a brewery where we got to try several of their excellent on tap stouts. Our final stop was a restaurant where we were offered a delicious fish chowder, fantastic mussels and very tasty lobster wontons. We were also happy to try the whisky produced on Cape Breton - Glen Breton. Both guides did an excellent job of explaining Sydney’s past and how it is looking to the future. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour.

The Cabot Trail tour provided for my wife and I could not have gone better. In a word, it was splendiferous!!!The tour started on time, the weather was fabulous and our driver/tour guide, Frank, was fantastic. The maxi bus" transport was a perfect size for our group.Frank's encyclopedic knowledge of all things Cape Breton was impressive to say the least. His first hand knowledge of the mining industry

It has been an excellent one day tour for our small family of three. The van was spacious for seven passengers. The air conditioner kept it comfortable with the temperature changing like crazy from up the mountain to the sea shore. The sound was clear from the back seat. Although the weather was not cooperative, our guide Frank, is a true professional. He arranged the route and stops so that we were able to see the best of the trial at the best timing. Frank is a wholehearted Cape Breton local and he knows so much about the history, the people, the culture and the places along the Cabot Trail and in Cape Breton at large. He also has broad knowledge about the natural environment in this area, including the plant, trees and flowers, the geology, rocks and soils, the terrain and weather. We learned a lot and enjoyed the day very much. The lunch was excellent and the restaurant Frank recommended in Sydney, where we stayed that night was superb! Thanks Frank! We will certainly go back to Cape Breton in the future.

We were very glad to have purchased a tour with CDT rather than drive the route ourselves as it gave us a chance to really discover a wide ranging variety of facts and history of the trail itself. Our driver and guide, Frank, was exceptionally knowledgeable and a talented story teller relaying the history of the trail, the various unique geological formations, stories of the historical figures that played a part in the trail as well as show us little side trips 'off the beaten path' that really highlighted the beauty and majesty of the trail and it's communities and people along the way.
