Napan Baykery

Wow. That would literally be the end of my review using only one word and it would be completely accurate. We were in the downtown walking the dog because we were in the area and stumbled on the bakery by accident. Being peckish I picked up a few things, these are literally some of the best baked goods I have ever had in my life. The creme horn was filled with an amazingly light airy cream that somehow tasted like fresh milk with a hint of sweetness, it was sublime. I also grabbed half a dozen finger rolls, they were the perfect flavour of home made bread with a slight crust on the outside. I will be making sure to stop by here before heading home on the weekend and stock up on some delicious treats for the drive home. We will also make sure to return any time we are driving by the area as well.

Love this bakery in downtown Chatham. Excellent product, pricing is reasonable and the baker/ owner is always friendly

What a wonderful spot!We stopped here on our way to the northern part of the province for a quick snack. We tried a bit of almost everything.The price was very reasonable, the food was delicious and the service was great!If you like German food, or just good food in general, try this place for a quick bite.There was a big selection of breads as well.

Affordable and delicious, love the snowball!

Walked in after a casual walk downtown and bought a few things. First I was very surprised that they only accept cash, especially during a pandemic. Second, the only reason this place is receiving a bad review is because I bought 5 items and all were stale and old. What stood out among the rest was the chocolate croissant; it was rock hard and the chocolate was hard and unappetizing. Definitely not a good first impression, I expected much better.

Comfy couch, kids corner, and a few tables to eat at if you can't wait for home to enjoy the baked goods.They have safety dividers at check out.Cash only, no cards accepted.They also have coffee and tea available to enjoy on site.

One of my fav bakeries anywhere. Traditional German ingredients and amazing German and Austrian baked goods.Breads of all kinds, from seeded and spelt loaves to dark and light rye breads.Tiny butter cookies melt in you mouth and linzer cookies, florentines and nougat cookies are incredible.Bavarian pretzels, pizza buns, honey and victorian cakes.Cheesecakes to die for.I used to live locally. Now drive 3-1/2hrs each way.So good!!!!

Love their bake goods.My favourite ones are the pretzel and their hazelnuts filled pastry(Nußhörnchen).Their cream cakes are made with whipping cream.A truly German Bakery.

Amazing little gem found it by mistake, we were looking for a another coffee establishment and decided to stop here instead and best decision made wonderful pastries and breads, I bought the Pharaoh" bread

Bee Sting Cake is delicious and the perfect hostess gift or if it’s your turn to provide dessert it’s a must try! Be sure to call ahead and reserve it because it’s that popular!
