Mississauga Hunan Style Restaurant

Amazing restaurant with authentic hunan-style food. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Interior of the restaurant is very nice and comfortable too! On top of all that, the restaurant is connected to Shu Yi bubble tea, so you can have bubble tea with your meal. Truly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Mississauga!One word of advice: do not order the spicy soup base if you can't handle spice. It is very very spicy. Better off ordering a milder soup base if you're unsure!

Great food!! Amazing service. I loved the summer with the outdoor dining and the food choices were great. Something to note is that their prices are amazingly cheap for restaurant quality food! Would reccomend!

While I wouldn't say the taste is the same as what you get in China or HK, it is pretty close. The dishes taste great but its on the salty side so it's best enjoyed with rice or some form of carb. The service was very good, even when the place seem a bit undermanned. No problem for my kids who can't take spice, just tell them to exclude them (not sure if every dish is possible though). Will visit again.

We have not been in this restaurant for a while, but since it is Chinese New Year we decided to revisit this restaurant.Very casual atmosphere, but nice.Food we ordered was fantastic, however the waiting time was VERY LONG.So if you are in a hurry, not a best place.

During the pandemic, restaurant business is more relied on take out. This restaurant was one of my favorite as they used to have consistat food quality, decent food portion and readiness on time. However, this is until recently when they raised their price in this unprecedented time. Unfortunately, following the increase of price they are unable to maintain the usual performance. FOOD QUALITY DROPPED, COOKING IS RANDOM, PORTION IS REDUCED. AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, EVERY TIME WHEN YOU ORDERED, PICK UP TIME WAS SET TO 30 - 45 MINUTES. THIS IS NOT ALL. WHEN YOU ARRIVED THE RESTAURANT, YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER 15 - 30 MINUTES BEFORE IT WAS READY. I AM UNABLE TO RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT BASED ON THEIR RECENT PRICE RAISE WHILE GIVE OUT THE OTHER WAY.It has been a while without revisiting this restaurant only because it usually has a long waiting time. This time wasn't bad at all. We waited for approximately 20 mins to get a table.Food quality is good as usual but maybe kind of salty for people not used to spicy northern cuisine. There seems to be understaff but everyone worked really hard and tried to respond as quickly as possible.The restaurant is kind of small and people is lining up next to you when you are dining. I would give another star if a better arrangement for waiting is offered as no one would like dining next to a long queue. You would have a feeling of dining in the street.

Real authentic food with the right amount of spice (customizable upon request). Good price considering the portion and food quality.

It took more than an hour to get all our dishes on the table. And I have never been so disappointed on the quality and quantity of the food.

Came for lunch today on recommendation of my friend. We had the house specialty BBQ fish 烤魚 with the fresh chili sauce. Delicious! Spice level was just right. Great service- really appreciated the recommendation on the sauce so the spice level wouldn’t overwhelm us. During our lunch we noticed a steady flow of food delivery guys. Clearly a popular spot. Highly recommended!
