Adrian has wonderful antique clocks in stock and is happy to give his advice and support before and after purchase. I bought a beautiful Regency clock after viewing photos on line and discussing a number of options with him. I have to say I am delighted with my purchase and look forward to buying again when funds allow, hopefully by visiting his shop in Chesterfield next time. Highly recommended.

Very good professional company and all staff welcoming. Not many traditional shops left these days and it's a hidden gem. Heard they are working on the showroom so I'm excited to go back to visit again soon! Fixed my watch for a very reasonable price too.

I brought in a mantelpiece clock which would no longer wind. Overton Clocks examined it while I did my shopping and when I came back after an hour it was all repaired. An excellent and friendly service.

I recently purchased a clock from Adrian at Overton Clocks. If I could give 6 stars for the service I received I certainly would. The skeleton clock I bought was as advertised, exquisitely beautiful. More importantly, the shipping of such a delicate antique overseas required the utmost care and expertise to ensure there would be no problems. Adrian went above and beyond in making sure the shipping container would withstand the rigors of being moved all those thousands of miles. The wood box was so well made my wife is using it in her art room at the school she teaches at for display and storage. So a win/win for both of us!

Adrian and the team at Overton clocks made an excellent job of restoring my 1940s RAF fusee clock. It was in poor condition after 20+ years in an attic room and had no pendulum or key. It did take 3 months however given the condition this isn’t exactly surprising! Once restored it needed minor adjustment at home which Adrian kindly did at no extra cost. Overall an excellent company with good customer service and follow-up. Highly recommended.

I recently took my watch to Overton clocks for servicing. whilst it was there, I asked them to look at a rattle that had developed within the mechanism. It turned out that the rattle was a broken part which was now obsolete. However, they worked to find a solution and managed to repair my watch for me and at a very reasonable price. The friendly service and excellent customer service means that not only am i happy to recommend Overton Clocks to others, but myself and my husband will be back to use them again whenever we need.Highly satisfied.

We are thoroughly delighted with our late 18th C longcase clock, recently purchased from Adrian of Overton Clocks. It is a beautiful 'Penny Moon' clock in oak, made by William Porthouse of Penrith, now ticking away comfortingly in our sitting room. We cannot praise Adrian enough for his friendly, welcoming, helpful approach, to say nothing of his talent as a master clockmaker. His wife Alison also did some superb conservation work on the gold leaf finials. Highly commended!
