Ottawa Metro Towing & Recovery

Vehicle was towed.City reports zero damage before pickup.Car very damaged when picked up from metro tow.Staff/owners/noone will respond. Not even take a phone call. Apparently the owner" is the only one that can do damage claims. Yet they won't even provide email or owners name to me. The customer. The only reason they still in business is cause they have city ottawa contract. Avoid at all cost."

very unprofessional. if i could give a 0 star rating I WILL. my car (which is in my mothers name) was towed by police to this location, ok whatever no biggie. after a week of being in their lot i went to go pickup. upon arrival employees were very disrespectful and unprofessional from the get go (except for the 2 gentleman that helped remove the cars blocking my car) we paid for the days my car spent ok cool. they made me walk through their lot looking for my car which was waaay far in the back & blocked in by plenty cars. this where my frustration comes. walking up to my car i noticed that they left my passenger side windows halfway way down - mind you.. we just had a massive snow storm - meaning the passenger side was covered (partially but photos shown below) with snow, also my keys were on the dashboard. (mind you the inside of my car was dirty with mud) with my frustration i went back to the office with my frustration looking for answers on why my window was left down. i approached the desk where i found the “manager” (mind you who was really disrespectful) the manager (the female) rudely respond with the words of “i don’t know why they were down i didn’t tow your car” i asked again she said “i’m not the one who handled your car” me being frustrated with not getting proper answers i left the office to go back to my car (i went there with my mom and sister they requested for a tow to remove cars blocking my vehicle) once i left the office the manager then made a slick comment about me to her co-workers that i’m “clearly drunk” which i wasn’t. with receiving that information it of course made me more frustrated better yet angry. i got my vehicle out the lot and then confronted the “manager” she stated that she was having a “rough day” and she apologized for that comment. i did not want the apology because as a concerned/frustrated customer that’s no way to act better yet as a manager. upon confrontation several other people came to the managers defence and they didn’t know what was going on until she admitted to what she said. i asked for corporate’s contact which they refused to give. the threatened to have me removed by police - which i didn’t care i told them to give the police my name cause i had everything recorded and proof of pictures. moral of the story don’t go with this company, especially in OTTAWA.

After a brief call, tow service came in 5mins. Very reliable. FAST SERVICE. Friendly people. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Driver was pretty helpful getting my car boosted. It was turned the opposite way so it was hard to boost with another car and he brought the right machine to get the car going. Really good service

1am life savers. Called 4 other towing companies with no luck before finding this one. They had a tow truck dispatched to me within 15 minutes. Service was 5 stars start to finish 100% reccomendation!

I dealt with Metro on Tuesday and had a great experience from Christine who answered the phone to Sean who found my problem with my battery. He fixed it temporarily gave me a boost so I could get to my mechanic. He was driving behind me out of the underground parking and when we were both at the light he advised me my left break light was out. He was very personable with a great sense of humor. I would recommend Metro 100% and if need be use them again.

Excellent service from your team. They were able to work around my schedule and get my car delivered to the body shop in time before they closed. Shopped around for prices and they were the best. Thanks again guys will definetley call again in the future if we ever need a tow again!

We had 2 children (age 2) locked in the car today (thankfully the car was running with A/C) at an event in the west end. What a stressful experience! The tow truck came to our rescue and then dispatch told him not to charge us! (We gave him a tip to buy himself something)We were amazed and SO thankful, he is our hero today. We will never forget this.

I would say its a very professional service. We called a few other companies to retrieve our vehicle from an underground car park and this was the only company in town able to do it. Glad they had the right people to get the job done 10 out of 10 service.

I broke down on the 417 in the middle of the night. When I called, the guy who took my call suddenly put me on hold for 5+ minutes in the middle of the call. Finally he came back, took the rest of the information he needed, then asked for a payment. I didn’t have a credit card with me and I don’t like reading the details of my debit card to someone over the phone. I told him this, and he said I have to pay them before they move my car. So basically their business policy will not support you or serve you if you don’t have a credit card.
