Unexpectedly amazing. The location was incredibly convenient - an elevator ride down to the market, tons of shops and restaurants right outside as well. The water at your doorstep, and an incredible view. The room itself was good. Not incredible, but clean and comfortable. The AC unit is old, but entirely function - just make sure you leave the panel cover open, otherwise it'll rattle. Would like to have some kind of screens for the windows/juliet balcony door so they can be left open without any fear of anything getting in, but the worst we got was a single fly which was quickly shooed back out.Funnily enough, a painting in our room was hung upside down. Didn't realize it at first, it just looked like a strange abstract - but we had an inkling that it might be a dandelion in the wind, and then confirmed when we found the signature in the top left corner. Gave us a good chuckle.Service was fantastic as well. Very friendly. Check in and out was a breeze.Honestly we're eager to stay here again in the future, and highly recommend it to anyone else.

Great location, we got a nice clean room with amazing ocean view. Excellent desk service, Diego was able to get us the perfect room for our budget.I will strongly recommend.

This felt like a motel room masquerading as a luxury hotel room, and we would not stay here again. We booked this room for a night as we were attending a function in West Vancouver and it was the closest hotel to the event. I could not find many positive things to say. Parking and the parkade was an unmitigated disaster, construction surrounding the entire complex and this was not communicated by the property at all. At a very brief and curt check-in, the check-in agent told us we would have an incredible view. Our room had a view of construction, shipyards and the sidewalk. The room was very basic, cheap furniture, small, dated TV, balcony" was a Juliet balcony that was basically just a door that opened inward and a railing behind it. The climate control system looked and acted like something that belonged in a museum

Hotel is behind another part of the building with minimal signage that can be seen in the dark when trying to find it, and it's on the 3rd floor. Parking is paid, almost $30/night and restricted to 6'6 tall vehicles

Two stars and I feel I’m being generous for that! The place is impossible to find and they have no actual parking! When booking they told us they were pet friendly and then when I checked in there was a list of rules about them not being allowed on furniture. We entered the room to our tv and lights being on like someone was there already. Towels had long black hair on them(we are a red head and a brunette) hair on the sheets and the door to the outside didn’t close properly. Hotel is under construction which they didn’t share when booking and they said nothing starts until after 8am. Well someone was is the hallway with an electric tool at 7am. The two stars are because the view was beautiful and the front desk staff were very nice. I would not recommend!

I stayed at the hotel for the first time earlier this week and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The desk staff was lovely. The room was beautiful and very clean. I also super loved how close it was to the sea bus and how easy to hop through to downtown. 10/10 recommend and I cannot wait to stay there again

The bathroom was so out of date I thought I'd gone back in time. The air conditioning unit rattled loudly. The 'spectacular ocean view' from an Executive Room was non-existent. There was a constant ticking/tapping coming from the wall behind the bed - not rats or mice, more repetitive in nature - so annoying and it made getting to sleep difficult. The curtains didn't close properly so we were woken early by the sun. The front desk staff were nonchalant, I expect they deal with complaints all day as I honestly can't think of anything positive to say about this hotel. I should have read the reviews before booking but they got me with 'spectacular ocean view' (which I never got).

This is definitely NOT a four star hotel. The air conditioner was very noisy and when fan speed was adjusted it was completely useless.coffee pods in the machine were stale, only milk substitute was provided and the reception was difficult to get hold of.

Had a little staycation in the Jacuzzi suite overlooking the pier, and I have to say the staff at this hotel from the restaurant to the front desk, and everyone in between worse, so professional and helpful and kind.Big shout out to Ravi (I believe was his name) at the front desk, there was a small hiccough with my check in, but he fixed it and went above and beyond…The room was extremely beautiful with a 180 view of Vancouver, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the washrooms modern. The Jacuzzi was a bit small compared to other hotels I have stayed in and is really only good for one person at a time (or two tiny people) lolMy only “negative” feedback (just for anyone planning on staying here), and this is something that’s out of the hotels control completely… so no fault to them… is you never know what activities are going to be going on at the pier… out quiet Saturday morning, turned into a rave when a spin class started blasting loud music and instructions over a microphone right outside of our window so we were woken up and actually ended up leaving early because the noise was unbearable so maybe check the events going on in the pier if you want to stay in the forward suite! But I highly recommend this hotel, and the staff in the kitchen or brilliant, and the chef made me one of the best breakfast steaks I’ve ever had! Five stars!

The Lonsdale Quay Hotel is a true landmark in North Vancouver, BC. It has been there for many years. Located inside the Lonsdale Quay market, a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The market has numerous eateries and shopping opportunities. If you want a quick exit to downtown Vancouver, the Seabus terminal is right there for a 20-minute ride. It also makes a great sightseeing tour. The hotel has undergone renovations since I stayed here last. The rooms are nice and spacious and have hardwood floors. The bed was very comfortable. Nice and clean towels and bathrobes are also great.I am giving it four stars because of the rickety mini-fridge with an ancient microwave on top of it, a real fire hazard. Come on; you can afford to replace those items.
