My family and I’s first time eating Afghan food and it was AMAZING! we came for dinner on a Saturday and we were seated immediately, no wait time. The portions were very filling and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back :))

context: this is on Sunday, not at the busiest time. While at the checkout there were 3 people(staff) fighting over the bill when we indicated after 80 minutes of waiting for food and deciding not to get it, still paid for coffee and tea. Willing to give them a try again when they fix their attitude and understand what customer service is. They prefer to waste food than admit what they are doing wrong.This review is to show you that having good tasting food with the poorest service in southshore can ruin your whole experience.Their food is 3/5 stars, however their staff attitude (to all attendees, not just our party) is possibly a 1/5 stars.Our party of 4 waited for over 70 minutes to receive a simple order. When we asked the management politely about expected time for food then the “brother” came up and started asking questions/giving directions.

Very good fine cuisine. Authentic Afghan food. The rice is amazing along with the brochette I ordered. Very good friendly service. Definitely will go back.

I was there last night with a friend and i would definitely not recommend the place to anyone. Nothing was special about the food and it was expensive. Service was horrible, we were served 2 glasses of water throughout the whole evening, our plates were not taken away after we ate and no one ever bothered to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert after our meal. The waiter was no where around to be found. I would have understood if the restaurant was full but there was only one other couple there so it’s not about being understaffed! I would have given 0 but google does not allow that. I am starting to believe that the 5 star rated reviews are fake. Save your money. La belle province on the other side of the road is much much better.

I’m so glad I decided to try this place. The lamb was perfectly grilled, and the portion was huge. I usually find restaurant food too salty/sweet, but everything here was perfect. It’s basically like getting the best home-cooked meal, right here in the neighborhood. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

We came here last night for the first time for a family dinner. The food was delicious and the portion size were big. As an Afghan, this place serves authentic afghan food and it's a must try. The service was great, the staff were nice and friendly. The place was clean and big, great for big family dinner. Would come back definitely!
