When you go there, ask for Lee. He is very good and honest with a lot of knowledge. They made my rims look like brand new.They know what they are doing and are very professional.

Took a cracked rim in for repair. Staff were friendly and polite. That was the highlight. Process was explained that the rim would be stripped and cleaned then repaired back to like new. 2 weeks later I received the rim and repair was average at best. Thankfully it’s an old wheel that I will repaint with the other 3 so they look the same.

Great experience here, I had some second hand wheels with some nasty curb rash and peeling paint, and these guys were able to make all that disappear while providing an excellent looking powder coat. These wheels are very curvy and have a fair amount of nooks and crannies, so I'm sure it wasn't easy, and they were able to make them look great. I was initially going to do a satin white finish on my wheels, but they recommended I go with gloss white instead, and I gotta say that was an excellent recommendation. They even aligned the center caps with the valve stems for reinstallation.I do have a couple gripes. First off, the barrel of the wheel (where it interfaces with the tire) has a few blemishes in the powder coat. But it's going to be inside the tire so it doesn't really matter, it's just worth mentioning, and those blemishes aren't existent on any parts of the wheel that'll be visible with a tire installed.Second off, communication was a little hit and miss, especially over email. They did always pick up and give updates over the phone, but I never got an email response after dropping the wheels off, so that could definitely use some attention.If those two issues weren't there, easy 5 stars

Brought my rim in and they did amazing job and quality work. Was a whole lot cheaper than having to buy a new rim or finding a replacement. So impressed would recommend to anyone.

After MANY attempts to have vintage wire wheels fixed after being curbed I found this glorious place, to say the experience was good is an understatement they fixed what others said couldn't be done and the price was so fair I decided to bring the three other rims to get tweaked so they were as good as the one they fixed. If you have wires you know!!

First time customer based on high recommendations from friends and local tire shops/dealerships.They are great at:Finding out if they can even do the work. I brought in a fairly severe cracked wheel and they took the time to see if the wobble could be pressed out before committing to doing the repair. This is fantastic. Great to see a shop do their due dilligence.The paint match is near perfect. It’s an aftermarket wheel so no paint code exists and from my perspective it’s bang on. Great work here.—They could improve on:Organization and communication. From the moment they approved the repair, the experience went down hill. From not sticking to their own communicated timelines to not sending a note to me to say ‘Hey, it’s going to be a bit longer,’ they just leave you hanging. The fact they can’t stick to their own perceived deadlines speaks to the disorganization of the shop. They’re clearly very busy every time I walk in, and when they keep telling me it’s going to be a week and a half, and it turns into 6 weeks, it’s quite frustrating. They also lost a brand new tire sensor—which in itself isn’t a big deal as they offered to purchase a new one—but it is still a miss in my books.Listening to the customer and taking notes. I was clearly told when I dropped of my wheels that the repair would require the removal of the logo of the wheel manufacturer. I said no problem. What I received (in the photos) was a great looking repair with a couple letters of the logo still there. It looks half finished and as if the tech just didn’t care about the aesthetics of the finished product. A primary reason people put aftermarket wheels on is for the aesthetic qualities. I refused to pickup the wheels as I just wanted them done right the first time—the way it was explained to me when I dropped them off. They made very little effort to swiftly correct this problem and instead opted to inform me that they are very busy and may not get to them for another week.—The quality of repair and paint is great, and I have no doubts that it will hold up over time. But the overall experience has been 50/50. I wouldn’t recommend nor decline to recommend Calgary Rim Repair. I would, however, advise anyone considering them for a wheel repair to be prepared for a bit of hand holding and manage your expectations accordingly.To be fair to Calgary Rim Repair, they have offered to reduce my invoice according to my experience, however I was happy with the quoted price. I just want them to do what they say.

Massive thanks to Lee and the crew that took such good care of my rims. I brought in a pair of rims that had severe damage, slammed sideways into a curb, however I didn't have the money to replace them with new ones. Even if they were rare imported japanese rims, the team here took amazing care of them, and fixed the bend in one, and the cracks in the other. These look, and feel like new! The price was very fair, and the work is beyond words. My car looks and drives like new, I can now enjoy my winter season knowing I'm safe on the road. Thank you again!

I just bought a used 440i and three of the rims were curbed pretty badly. Took them to Calgary Rim Repair and they fixed all of them at a very fair price and they also finished them as per the quoted time which is huge for me. I could not be happier as the rims look brand new. I would 100% recommend them and will be a return customer if I ever need rim work again.
