Quebec City Marriott Downtown

As close as you can get to the walls of Quebec City. I arrived to find out that I didn't have a reservation until the next night on a holiday weekend and the city was sold out. Thankfully, the staff worked diligently to accommodate me for one night and then move rooms on the second night. The staff was great! Views of Chateau Frontenac and the lower entrance to the walled city from my window. Nice breakfast included.

The hotel is extremely well located and the room have been renovated. I don’t know Marriott well, but my feeling was that Marriott finish was slightly higher but maybe not. This is kind of holiday inn level.From staff was very kind and welcoming and I appreciate there attitude.Hotel change towels but doesn’t clean rooms every day. That for me is unacceptable. For that reason I won’t be staying again but nonetheless is’t wasn’t a bad stay hence the three stars.

My wife recently stayed here for two nights. I called ahead to the hotel to let them know she would be checking in early. Jimmy took the time to not only ensure she would be able to check in slightly early but also had the best room possible. (Top floor! View of Old Quebec City!) Each time he saw her he checked in to ensure she was having a relaxing stay. 100% recommend the hotel and look forward to returning to it soon (with me!). Recently renovated room. Great view of old town. Elite member has complimentary 2 drink vouchers and breakfast buffet which includes made to order omelettes. Service was great. Parking is across the street in an underground parkade (not connected to hotel).

Great location if you want to be close to the old town. Many options for eating and a parking garage right next to the hotel. The garage has Level 2 electric chargers on the first floor at 1 CAD per hour. I appreciated hardwood floor vs carpet in the room and good water pressure in the shower. I would definitely consider staying again if I return to Quebec City.

You can tell it's been renovated. Sleek and spacious rooms, lots of charging ports everywhere and good location to see lots of the old city l, get to the city walls, etc. The only criticism is that this is one of the only hotel so far during my tour of Canada that didn't offer baggage porters

Located just outside of old Quebec, it is in a perfect location for day tours of the old city. The rooms are modern and well furnished. We had a great view from our room. There was water furnished and the shower was (dare I say) state of the art. The only problem was that the breakfast was not complimentary and was expensive. We ate at two different restaurants for breakfast both of which were cheaper than the Marriott. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to make things easier for us. I definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

Stayed here recently with my boyfriend for a work trip that he was on and overall had a good experience at the hotel. We stayed in a room with a king size bed, which was very comfortable! The room had a desk and a small work area with a comfy bench beside the bed. The bathroom was nice and big, easy for 2 people to get ready in the morning. Sadly there was no closet, only an open wardrobe. While they did have a business center and an area to work outside the room, there are few amenities on site - no pool or outdoor space; no bathrobes and no tubs, just a small gym. The location is great, but if you’re looking for extras, this is not the place.

I had an exceptionally satisfying experience during my stay. The service provided was truly excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled, requiring me to extend my stay in Quebec City for one more night. However, the front desk staff was wonderfully helpful and arranged for me to stay in the same room for an extra night despite being a busy time in Quebec City because of a music festival nearby. Contrary to some reviewers' comments about infrequent housekeeping, my room was cleaned daily, and any towels I left on the floor were promptly replaced. The hotel's location is outstanding, and I highly recommend it to others.
