Garden Court Cafe
This a quaint restaurant located inside the Bessbourough hotel. While I was staying at the hotel it was only open for breakfast. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. Also she has been working there for almost 30 years so extremely knowledgeable of the hotel and grounds. Do strike up a conversation with her. Food quality and portion was great. Prices are typical for a hotel so know it going in. All in all enjoyable.

Hands-down the best non-buffet hotel breakfast I've had in North America so far! I stayed here for three nights during my recent trip and between my friend and I, we tasted five different items from the breakfast menu. Each was beautifully (and one can even say creatively) presented (even the plates looked great) and had a great mix of ingredients and flavours. They put a creative spin even for something as simple as pancakes or French toast. The portions were large and the price very reasonable - please keep it that way! The servers were all very kind and warm, making you comfortable even if dining alone. All of this in a charming, historic atmosphere. Ask for a seat by the windows/the part overlooking the pool!

Service was good and friendly. I had two fried eggs over avocado, bacon, tomatoes and toast with hasbrowns that came with a dish of ketchup. Drinks I had an orange juice and coffee. The eggs were cooked nice but cooled due to the cold not so fresh avocado. The hasbrowns were ok, but seemed very truck stop-ish. The ketchup was definitely poured into the dish and sat overnight, the ketchup had water on the top (separated). Not the worst, but I expected better.CoffeeOrange juiceBreakfast plate$5 Tip$32.00

Waitress was unsure of food specials, soup of the day etc. Had to keep going back to ask.Ordered the sandwich special. It was a poorly put together sandwich that completely fell apart on the first bite. Wasn’t that great tasting either. My son had waffles. They were soggy and saturated with strawberry juice.Won’t be back $43 for a small mediocre meal for two, without drinks!

Incredibly good food. I always take business clients here because you never need to make a reservation (only open for supper most nights). The prices are a little on the high side but the flavor is usually worth it. I've never been disappointed.

Food was o.k. service was awful. We couldnt find our server when we needed her and had to flag another one down to get ours to bring us butter. Coffee smelled and tasted of hours on the burner, but even if it was fresh, we were never offered refills. Couldn't pay with cash easily, and our server was unable to give us any reassurance that she cared.2 stars for atmosphere. Beautiful Hotel, terrible restaurant.
