It's always scary hiring movers as you never know what or who you're going to get. I mean, you're trusting strangers with your personal belongings. Some of which have taken you all your life to acquire.We chose 2 Burley Men because they were the most personable on the phone and didn't come across as a used car salesmen trying to sell us snake oil. There were no hidden fees. It was all on the up and up and straight forward. They provide a service and you pay for that service.I can't remember the names of the 2 guys who showed up on move day but they were on time and ready to work. Both were good guys with great attitudes and easy to interact with. They treated my stuff with respect and everything went smooth. No damage to my belongings or walls.Moving is stressful. But these guys didn't add to that stress and were the very least of my concerns that day. That is the best compliment I feel a mover can receive. Highly recommend these guys.

The movers were polite and professional. What impressed me the most was their team work and ability to work together while moving heavier objects. We used Burley while having some floor work done which meant moving furniture from one end of the house and then back and had to do again to do floors on the other half. Because of drying time etc we had to change our times with Burley several times, well they were so accommodating we could not believe it. Probably the smoothest move I've done thanks to the help of 2 Burley Men. I had two young adults with some hustle in their step. It's refreshing to see some young hard working people! The Manager also is on top of his game, checking in and actually took the time to come and view my packed things personally a day ahead to prep his crew. I wouldn't think twice to use their services again.

Lamont has two great workers in Donovan & Nate. I booked about 2 weeks in advance and I got a confirmation email, a follow up email reminder prior to the day of the move and I got a phone call from the driver. Both guys were polite and friendly and on time. They were careful with my furniture and belongings. I watched them take special care to secure it properly inside their truck. My stuff was shrink wrapped to avoid anything swinging open. It actually went really smoothly and faster than I thought it would take and I paid the hourly rate I was quoted. Good communication throughout and I would highly recommend this company.

I used Lamont and 2 Burley Men for my move, from the moment they arrived they were extremely professional and personable. They took their time making sure my things were properly wrapped and handled with care, needless to say there was no damage to my things and I trusted them throughout the process. I called and booked a move after a discussion about what was involved and getting an idea of what my cost would be. After the move and hours etc were calculated, we were only out $60! Good work Lamont. And when Winston and Lewis arrived, things went quickly with a great attitude. I would never be worried about paying these guys by the hour with their work ethic. We had some hiccups at delivery site, but they just got to work and did what had to be done, still with great attitude. Everything delivered in good shape and good time. Was quoted for a pack and move for two days . Pack and load sat and move items next day .Got a call day before saying they were going to do it all in one day .Two guys , 5 hours to pack a two bedroom apt and then put items in truck .Obviously not enough time , two other people from our family had to help them as they were running out of time .The two movers had no experience .Once items arrived they had to hurry the unload as they had to leave , the only reason they made it was because three of us helped them.When you hire a moving company for packing and moving , the stress should not be on the customer . Making sure they leave on time is not the customers thing .I would pay more next time to not have the stress with another company .
