Shoppers Drug Mart

I had been a customer of this branch since I moved in this area (8 yrs). I have not written a review but after today thought it would a great time to do so. There is this nice Asian Pharmacist in this location who always provide excellent service. You can tell she actually cares about the people who comes it. I first noticed when the elder gentleman infront of me needed some guidance about his medication and she took her yimae with him. Not a tinge of annoyance or feeling rushed was shown. Today she extended me help when I needed some medication delivered for the first time. Thank You and I am sorry I forgot to ask your name

Very very bad customer service. The staffs are very lazy . Patients have to wait more than 1 hour to pickup their prescription drugs. Specially pharmacy manager ;she is very rude to talk to customers.Even I don't want give 1 star to that place. Never going there again. I will share my experience with others

Overall a nice Shoppers location. The cashier is very slow and always there is only one attendant. Their food and beverage section is reasonable with good variety.

Very poor customer service experienced by the pharmacy department. They Said 30 minutes for prescription and then 45 mins. I waited more than an hour and then they said they need another 15 mins. I was still waiting for more than 15 mins but they didn’t call. I went and asked then she picked my prescription which was ready .I waited almost 2 hours. Never going to this shoppers again. If they mentioned earlier that it’s going to take time. I might have dropped and picked it next day.

Their communication is completely unacceptable. I was called 5 days ago and was told that you needed a few days to get my medication. I came in today and you told me to come tomorrow because you can't bill my insurance? I explained my last pill is today and i will need it tomorrow - why did you continue to turn me away? When I asked questions to understand why I couldn't get my medication, the pharmacist became dismissive and refused to properly help me. He then asked me what do you want?" I said "my pills" and he told me to sit and walked away So i waaaaaited and no one brought them to me. Everyone was standing around. Only when I asked

Horrible horrible customer service. If I could give this location a zero star I would. I will NEVER go back to this pharmacy again. I have given them one too many chances. Jane was beyond rude and disrespectful. For me to write a review says a lot and reading the other comments clearly means that this location has an on going issue with their attitude.We were picking up a prescription and attempting to use our benefits, which is in an app form - no card. We showed it to Jane and she began saying that the app does not have the info that she requires then walks off, after multiple attempts and trying to figure out what info she requires she then says she requires the carrier. All the info is on the app, which we ALWAYS use and have NEVER had an issue. There was just waaaay to much back and forth with her that we just ended up paying full price. Jane seriously needs an attitude adjustment and maybe get customer service training. Still can’t believe what happened.

I booked a travel consultation with a pharmacist at this location. Upon arrival I was greeted with blank stares. No one there was able to do the consultation because they didn’t write the qualifying exams. What a total waste of time. I also found out they can’t give you the vaccines without a prescription so I would have still had to visit my doctor. I immediately booked an appointment with a travel clinic at 300 Rossland. They saw us working the hour and took care of everything. Don’t trust shoppers.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. Experienced unbelievable disrespect and ill-mannered behaviour from several of the employees over an item that was priced incorrectly on the shelf. After explaining that the item should in fact be free due to the “Scanning Code of Practice” the cashier informed me that SDM does not abide by this policy. On top of this, the cashier had a colleague go to the shelf, at which time they tried to conceal the tag while telling me that it was indeed priced correctly.Furthermore, after calling head office to share the details of my visit, I was told that SDM does in fact follow the Scanning Code of Practice and that I would be contacted shortly for follow up. It has been over a week and no one has reached out.I have never been treated this way and SDM should be ashamed of themselves for employing such insulting and dishonest staff, who are clearly not knowledgeable about the policies of the company. SDM management also has a lesson to learn when it comes to following up with customers who have been treated poorly in their stores. I do not recommend shopping at this location, and this experience has made me think twice about supporting this company going forward. I will make a conscious effort to shop elsewhere for my needs.

My family refills all their medicines at this location since 2016, however over the period, concerns about this location has increased. Here are few of them:1. They never pickup call to refill prescription over the phone. At times they hang-up after picking up even though you've been on phone for half an hour.2. They never get the medicines and refills right in the first try.3. They are always out of samples for seniors that are 75+ and needs lancets even though they purchase medicines from this location for thousands of dollars a month.4. The newer pharmacy staff has attitude problem, previous staff was humble and customer centric, the new staff just doesn't care.5. They really need to prioritize customer service or it is matter of time that they'll start losing their old and loyal customer base.

I have just recently started going to this shoppers. The two girls who have helped me in the beauty department were fantastic friendly and very helpful. Angie and Aqaba. Also provided great suggestions. They should be recognized for the customer service they provided.
