Kazoku BJJ
Manny is one of the most patient and kind jiu jitsu instructors I have met. His jiu jitsu and how he teaches is great and is always evolving. I feel safe on the mats and highly recommend this for beginner's or if you are looking for a new jiu jitsu place to call home. The kids love his class and always look foward to it and I always look foward to the adult class. Best way to de-stress from life is here!

I have been training for a few years and moved to Edmonton from Ontario. Kazoku is a very welcoming gym, with friendly members. I definitely felt at home. I appreciated the gym culture and look forward to coming back. It's nice to get direct one on one time with a black belt. You don't always get that at all gyms.

Incredibly welcoming to newcomers. I was looking for a BJJ gym around southside Edmonton and Kazoku was the closest one. The drive to the gym is easy, and there is plenty of parking.In my first class, I was immediately welcomed by Professor Manny and the other students! They were especially accommodating to me as a white belt, and took the time to explain techniques step by step. The atmosphere in this gym is very warm and friendly.So far, I'm loving this gym. For anyone interested, they have trial classes available, which is what I did before deciding to join.Five stars—highly recommended!

I’ve done BJJ with Manny since 2013, he’s got beautiful technique, breaks things down nicely for students and is a genuinely nice person. I was only in town for a few days. Owner is friendly and welcoming. Gym is clean and new! Other students were nice and welcoming as well.
