My absolute go-to for all my art needs. Really wished Meghan still worked there though. I met her in framing and she was literally an angel, always there to help with all of my problems and truly went above and beyond the call of duty each and every time. Anytime I had a question I would call and ask for her and she would walk me through! Really miss having her there to help me but great store and the manager there Leanne is also the best.

Due to the recent move, if something you order online is out of stock you are charged and the backorder doesn't get processed. They are so far behind they aren't answering emails any more. When you order online you have no way of knowing if the items are in stock, so DON'T ORDER ONLINE. If they really wanted to get a handle on this they would shut down the online store until they get to the end of the backlog. This long time customer is very dissapointed, as are many others. They're taking your money and not delivering at the moment.

Fantastic provider of art supplies to the Vancouver area. The Granville location isn’t the most convenient place to visit on a weekend, with lots of visitors to the area, it can become very congested. Also recommend calling ahead to check if what you need is available. The availability of framing supplies can be hit or miss, as can Gamblin oil paints. I’ve never had any issue with canvas availability. Great selection of brush, painting knives, pastels, papers, tools, studio furniture etc. highly recommend. The staff is also quite pleasant and knowledgeable

I had the loveliest help yesterday with purchasing paper and brushes at the Granville island location. The staff also encouraged me to check out their resources and attend their in-store demos or online classes, which I didn’t know they had. Amazing service!

My wife is a regular customer of Opus and she just ordered some canvases on their online sale. After taking her money Opus refused to honour their sale price. She spoke with multiple people including management and they outright refused to honour the online sale price.While this may not be an intentional scam, I believe they are required by law to honour their price and they refuse to do so.I hate seeing people get scammed and my wife is too nice to do anything about it so I am writing this review to ensure that anyone considering buying something on Opus's website be aware that Opus did not honour their online sale price.
