New Indian Sweets & Restaurant (ARGYLL PLAZA)
Ordered two plates of golgappa thinking it would be good but pani was too sweet, maybe they mixed tamrind chutney in it instead of giving it to me separately and not I can’t have spicy golgappa. Filling is just awful with no taste and only seasoned with paprika. Potatoes too big for filling. Disappointing taste if you want to try authentic Indian snacks.

Took five bites and thought it was too good NOT to post a review. Very happy with the massive portion; perfectly cooked- not dry butter chicken pieces, mountain of basmati and 1.5 naan. Fantastic value for 15$ and the butter chicken itself has a very rich tomato taste, as authentic as 'butter chicken' can get.

Came in for some butter chicken, and was not disappointed. Huge portion, chicken was fresh and delicious. The rice was the perfect side with some buttered nam bread. I wasn't able to finish it all, I got more then I expected and left with a full belly. Manny was super kind, and came to check up on me as I worked on the food, he was so nice he sat down and we were able to talk as I ate. What a fantastic place, great atmosphere, and plenty to take in when you arrive. They have a buffet available, and a bar ! Definitely worth it.

The one star is for the polite server otherwise the food deserves a negative rating as it was tasteless and extremely watered down gravies for butter chicken and shahi paneer. No one cared to listen to our concerns and we also noticed a lack of good hygiene practices by the staff there.

Ordered the butter chicken with an extra piece of naan bread and the mint chutney. Absolutely delicious. Generous portions of chicken and just the right amount of heat. Will definitely be back to check out some of their other dishes.

This place is inside a shopping area with ample parking space. There are many other businesses in the same area. The restaurant is small but clean. When I visited it was quite. The waitress was pleasant. The food was okay. The price was moderate. The cuisine was North Indian . The quantity and quality of the meal was good for the price. They have a bigger restaurant at Medows south Edmonton near Corpus Christi Church inside Palika bazaar shopping complex.

Best authentic indian food ...quality and quantity is really good... you will feel the india taste in the food.... I recommend everyone this restaurant for pranthe and samosa chana..... also they give discounts on pickup...

SOOOO GOOD. Some coworkers & I ordered from here, & it was very delicious.We got butter chicken, rice, naan bread, dal & veggie samosas... Would recommend all these dishes. The veggie samosas are not only super tasty, they’re only $0.75!We would 10/10 recommend this restaurant. Friendly staff as well!

Utterly incredible food! Large portions, great prices, and delicious - we could smell it from literally the front door of our hotel and knew we had to eat there immediately. The service was incredible - I really recommend any of the lamb dishes as they were cooked perfectly!!!
