Richard Kwan of Simple Cures has been more helpful in my healing process than any other resource I have tried in the last year. If you are stuck in anything in your life…an injury, poor sleep, back pain…do yourself the favor and make an appointment. I have struggled with a wrist injury and am seeing great improvement as well as sleeping better and having back pain relief. He is kind, intuitive, interested, calming, informed, educated, self-aware, thoughtful and pro-active in his approach to healing. He is clear in his explanation of cause/reaction in the body and helped me understand what had caused my issue and how I can help myself help heal the issue as well. He believes in wellness and the practice of your whole being finding the balance to be healthy. I wish I could send everyone I care about to go see him. He is absolutely wonderful. I will always trust Richard when I need help finding my balance.

I saw River Xu for a pinched nerve in my shoulder and he did an acupuncture treatment. He is a miracle worker! After a week of pain, I left with no pain and slept through the night with no pain and no pain-killers. I am so incredibly happy and relieved to be waking up pain-free.

I saw Richard Kwan today for the first time. I have had acupuncture done in a few different clinics but never had the excellent treatment I had today. Richard goes further than just acupuncture he also listens to you and provides talk therapy. I never enjoyed acupuncture in the past however I literally fell asleep after experiencing some very strong emotions that came up just talking. It was so healing and I left feeling very light and positive. I am excited to return next week and am positive my digestive issues for the past 47 years will be resolved under his care. Richard came highly recommended and now I understand why.

I had a great first ever acupuncture treatment with Richard. I was incredibly impressed with how spot on his assessment was and how all my symptoms were interconnected. I can'not say enough about how very HAPPY l am from the results of the acupuncture l have been receiving from Steve. I was referred to Simple Cures by 2 friends who highly recommended him. I spent over a year in severe abdominal pain after hernia surgery - to have it GONE in 1 session? A miracle! He is now treating me for some issues l have on the right side of my body (knee/hip/back) and all l can say is that 5 weeks ago l was in so much pain and today my pain is mild in comparison. I met Richard by chance while I was deep in the vortex of a concussion in October 2022. I didn’t even know TCM treat concussions! But I was at the end of my rope and decided to give it a try. Steve cured my meniscus tear! The family doctor referred me to the specialist and suggests me to go to physiotherapy but it didn't help. My knee recovered so I don't have to wait the specialist. It's a nice and comfortable place!
