Usually all items are delicious. Today winter melon round was too sweet (corn syrup?), spat out. Bun was undercooked with custard like paste inside, Almond cookie was too soft and tasted a bit weird. Had to brush mouth to ward of unpleasant taste. What happened? Different management or new trainee chef?

Egg tarts tasted off. Seems like they aren't fresh and probably from yesterday.Previously their bbq pork buns were also off. The filling was sour but they were selling them anyway. One cashier complained to the other about the previous customer asking too many questions. Oblivious to the fact that other customers can hear and understand all the terrible things she was saying. This bakery doesn't care. I wouldn't go back here again.

The best chinese bakery I knew so far in North York, their egg tarts are beyond delicious as well as their banana bread which tasted exactly like what I used to eat in Hong Kong. The lady working there was super nice and friendly, but be aware they only take cash.

We really love this bakery. Everything that comes out from the oven is delicious. The bbq pork buns are a must. The door was nice and chilly and the feeling is just enough. You might want to eat too. On Fridays they have rice pastries filled with peanuts or red bean. They also serve Hong Kong style tea. Ask for a double double you won’t regret it.Update: they renovated and it looks great.

5-stars for the best Dan-Ta (egg-tart) in the neighbourhood! I have been coming to this place for the past 20+ years. There are more fancy chinese bakeries around now, but I still feel this shop has the best Dan-Ta ever! I like a couple of their staple buns too: sausage buns and the raisin twist. You can never go wrong with those. But the Dan-Ta- omigosh, the egg and the tart is so fragrant and flaky.

I have visited and purchased cakes from this shop twice before. The baked items cakes etc. are tasty but it seems the young lady owner at the reception is extremely rude and is not at all customer friendly.I think she is being forced to do this job by her parents because one can literally see that on her face. I am giving 1 star because google doesn't allow to post a review with a 0 star. The shop is small and sweet and in order to create and make relationship with customers of other different community the shop owner should be courteous and diligent in providing services to their customers. But unfortunately the owners don't want to do that.I also observed that some times she does speak nicely with people from her own Chinese community but because I am not Chinese or Korean or may be because I am brown, the young lady (shop owner) literally displayed her frustration and displeasure on my face. I only asked her a few questions and the way she answered to me was completely uninviting and made me feel unwanted. Its disheartening to see when Canada invites new immigrants and when these new immigrants become successful or gets into the system they make their own little space while not learning simple communication skills, soft skills and interpretation skills. The way she spoke English was also as if somebody was forcing her to speak English language from her mouth. I am never visiting this shop ever again. And I am sure, this young lady owner doesn't even want any people from an outside community to visit and allow others to involve with her or contribute to her shop. Horrible experience.Beware - People from any other outside community (not from the community to which the shop owner belongs, may be chinese or korean), if you happen to visit, then please be ready to face an insulting and disgraceful display of customer service when you visit this shop.

I have never bought or seen a cake with so much cream and so little sponge cake inside. It was the smallest cake they had and I paid $18 for it. Very overpriced for chocolate flavoured whipped cream!

Price is expensive for what you get - T&T level price, but not the quality or variety. Nothing special. Usual Chinese bakery items. I've given this bakery multiple attempts over the years at infrequent intervals, but I've had issues with undercooked bakery items. You bite into an item and parts of the dough will have that chewy undercooked texture and it tastes like it too. Once I could forgive that happening... 3, 4 times... they're very sloppy at baking. I'm going to cross this bakery out of mind and you should too.
