Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. John's Newfoundland

This was the first time staying at this hotel. It was more than I expected. Great service. Clean and spacious. The most comfortable bed. Choice of buffet breakfast foods was fresh and plentiful. Pool, gym, laundry room . Great security features. Will definitely stay there again.

An excellent hotel located in a more commercial/industrial part of St. John's. Rooms were clear and standard, very nice bathrooms. Breakfast was standard as well, but very good. Staff members were all super helpful and nice. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you have a car, if not it's a very challenging location to get around in.

My partner and I stayed here with our 5 kids for new years eve. We asked for east facing rooms and had a great view of the fire works over the city at midnight. The kids enjoyed the pool and the slide. The pool is small and was a bit too deep for the youngest (5) to be comfortable.Breakfast was chaos in the morning. It was very busy when we went around 9 and the staff were having trouble keeping the trays stocked and the tables cleared. I'd recommend going early for breakfast to avoid the rush.Contacting the hotel directly prior to check in to have the rooms connected was challenging. The directory kept taking me to a centralized reservation desk that couldn't confirm the request.

Stayed one night for a medical appointment. The last at the front desk was VERY friendly and helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool and waterslide. Breakfast was good, it was busy and at some points it was a little slow to get refilled, but that's to be expected. Would stay again!

We stayed as couple twice in last 3 months. Great service, Perfect Location, Reasonable price and Delicious breakfast. Rooms are spacious and equipped with all basic utilities. Also has pool to relax. Highly Commendable.

Pool and slide were shut down (a guest broke the emergency shut off). Even though we booked through a third party they gave us a free stay for next time we're in town in a couple months, as they couldn't give a credit directly.Update... True to their word, we received two free rooms. Slide was great. Will definitely return next time we're in town.

An excellent place to stay in St John's when you want to be close to everything. This hotel has it all. Comfortable beds, a clean room and an amazing waterslide. The breakfast was good with lots of options. The staff here are also amazing and very helpful. I look forward to staying here again.

In town this week for a family emergency. Through all the emotions and running around the staff here were top notch. Supportive, friendly and went above and beyond during all hours to help us out. Day or night! They helped take some stress out of the day.

Short drive from airport and across from major mall which is great for shopping, dining and to catch a movie. The front of house staff are extremely personable, happy and helpful. Housekeeping staff were very kind and also exceptionally helpful. The gym is good for an quick work out and kids will love the water slide at the pool (bigger than you think). Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold dishes to choose from and had a great choice of healthy options of fruit and yogurt. Noise level at night is minimal which is great considering it is by a main thoroughfare. Walls are a bit thin so hearing doors open and close and showers running should be expected. Walk in showers available and hotel was clean with no disinfectant smells. Security was good. You can have food ordered in but need to pick up in the lobby. Well lit parking with sufficient space for larger vehicles. Wifi connection was good and cable tv offered. Netflix option accessible with your own account.

Stranded in town due to car malfunction. This was close to our dealership. If I knew it was this good, I would have stayed here years ago. They have a pool & are pet friendly too!
