I purchased a vehicle yesterday and made the mistake of stopping in Killaloe to get my plates and transfer the vehicle into my name.Not only was I charged $471.00 for taxes and fees but after the lady told me of her mistake, she couldn't refund it!On top of that she wanted me to pay the right amount of $81.00...Clearly I refused to pay another dollar until they reimburse me for what I had been wrongfully charged for fees.Now any other place could easily put my card back In the machine and refund the amount back to my card. Well not service Ontario.After much frustration they agreed to minus the proper amount from what I already paid and refund me the balance.I was told it would be in my account the following day...that's today...needless to say it has not been received.I have been informed I could wait up to 3 weeks for a refund in the mail...Absolutely unacceptable!I get it we all have bad days n we all make mistakes however this was a very costly mistake made at my expense.And very little has been done to correct and resolve it.
