Prestige Lakeside Resort

Perfect location in a beautiful place, easy walk to downtown and ammenities. The south facing rooms were very quiet with gorgeous views across the lake. Nice restaurant for a cookie cutter resort eatery. Definitely a good bet if you're looking for a big-brand style hotel in Nelson. Decent facilities for small to mid-sized business events.

Very clean. Some of the staff were a little slow to serve, but it wasn't a show stopper. Nice views, location appeared to be in industrial area. Would stay here again.

Great location next to the water, within easy walking distance to the shopping district. Rooms were well appointed, clean, and in good maintenance.The pool and hot tub were well maintained and clean, with clean towels and a changing room.The lobby was under construction at the time we stayed there, and we unfortunately needed to walk through the construction to get to the temporary lobby, but we did get a single voucher for a $3 coffee in compensation (and we got to pet the builders dog Peanut!).There are two restaurants on site, but we only went to one though, Brixx. The food was nothing to write home about. The waiter was very accommodating though in helping us get regular cheeseburgers from the restaurant next door.

Super location and great staff. I enjoyed the food and cafe options. The only drawbacks is the hotel mattresses are ridiculously soft. Woke up sore each morning. If you like a soft mattress, the hotel is perfect for you.

Great resort and fantastic staff. Lots of parking and awesome restaurants downstairs. Pool and gym were great too but the best part is the views and the atmosphere. I truly recommend this resort.

Recently attended a 57-year reunion, and it was really great. The food was awesome and serving staff great.

Toilets wastes water a bit. Tub drains quietly, but very slowly.My partner struggled to understand our admissions attendant as the accent was quite thick, however I did not and found the exchange envigoratung & inspiring. I'm familiar with accents though so thus could be challenging for some and not others.I suppose she could have guided us better as we wandered and needed to ask a room attendant how to find our way upstairs, however he was much more pleasant and jovial than the front desk goddess.Wd stayed one night and found the room was kept quite cold though we had control of the thermostat. Also more towels woukd be nice @almost $300/night for out suite, one towel feels well you know.. but we can appreciate the environmental aspect.Parking is spread our into two sections and is unpaid so don't be fooled into parking in the marina lot, there is more further north east of the min entrance.Since we chose an upper floor on the Marine side The View was amazing of the water in the Mountainside and the lovely properties across the lake however the sounds from the marina including the wind whipping through the wires and the flags and so on on all of the boats in the marina it's a significant sound so if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff even with the doors closed and the windows closed there's still somewhat of a disturbance though it was admittedly windy the evening and the morning that we were there the balconies give you an amazing view of the docking area smoking is not permitted nor is and not have that outdoor lights at night and the outdoor lights that come on or a bit of noise pollution as far as what you could observe or light pollution I should say thank you.

Overall, pretty impressed with the room we had. The linens looked/felt clean and were properly smoothed out and crisp. Nice touch to have 4 pillows per bed which we enjoyed. Bath room was clean and had good products. We also enjoyed the high quality coffee (salt spring) and tea provided in the room. Also appreciated the late check-out time.The only things that were slightly disappointing:- they did not have black out curtains (they had narrow ones which were not wide enough to block out the entire window and the draw down blinds were white and did not block out light) which meant we were woken up at dawn by daylight which could not be blocked off at all.- bed was a bit too soft and not too comfortable- for the price, the room did not come with breakfast but a single $3 coupon for the local cafe (good enough for one espresso); not even a coupon per person

Great lodge right by the lake. Nice location with the grocery store close-by, walking path (Watch for dog poop), far enough from downtown so quiet at night, but a train might wake you up in the middle of the night.

I stay here regularly and always have a great time. The food is excellent. Daniel the bartender is hilarious and the servers at Port 701 are great. The place is pet friendly too!
