I contacted Norea to help repair a fireplace that would not light. They sent a technician pretty quickly, who did many tests and eventually diagnosed that the entire valve was defective. A few weeks later, when the part came in, they set up another appointment to perform the replacement. After a few hours and doing numerous tests...a few short hours later, the issue re-emerged. They sent the technician (Alain) back the next day and after finally replacing the thermocouple, the fireplace is now working properly. Although Alain was very thorough, professional, and cleaned up after himself, I am left wondering if I ended up paying $540 (initial visit $125 + new valve $325 + new thermocouple $90) for something that could have been fixed the first time for only $90 (thermocouple). At least I have a working fireplace again and it was easy to work with this company.

We bought our Heat & Glo natural gas fireplace insert from Foyer Gaz in 2006. This is the first time that it wouldn't work. Dominic gave us the first available appointment, and Julie kept us completely updated on Mario's ETA. Our Technician Mario was superb. He was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and informative; we could not ask for better service.

Fabulous experience with technician Alain. My wall switch was not turning on the fireplace and he educated me on what to do next time. He cleaned and painted the fireplace and did a carbon monoxide test (which was negative). Really he took the time to ensure the fireplace looked better than before and worked properly. I’m impressed to see there’s still honest and good people out there. Thank you and would use the services again.

I had my gas fireplace serviced with Noréa and the technician that serviced my fireplace was amazing. He (Martin) was very professional, knowledgeable and very clean. If you need to service your fireplace I highly recommend Noréa and ask them to send you Martin. Thanks again Martin for your excellent work. On February 11, 2022 I had to replace my blower in my propane fireplace but the new blower had to get modified to suit my 20 year fireplace. Alain the technician did a great job in modifying the new blower. Noréa has professional and knowledgeable technicians. I highly recommend Noréa, Thank you Alain.

EXCELLENT service by Bertrand . Nice to go somewhere and the person knows there stuff. He is the Pellet stove specialist. Very polite and took time to hear what I wanted and gave good detailed explanations. It's nice to go somewhere and they don't force a product on you.

They did a great job on cleaning my gas fireplace and fixing issue with the ignition/starter a few months back. They two technicians that came were very professional, on-time and did a thorough job. Prices are reasonable as well. I was very pleased with the service.Would definitely recommend.

We would NOT recommend Norea Foyers, Vaudreuil. Our propane fireplace was installed in Oct 2020. Our flame never really adjusted well - it was always on high. Covid hit, so we didn't get around to dealing with this right away. We called Norea recently to have it finally checked out. They said this was a common problem and there would be no charge for this service call. The technician arrived today and, after thoroughly checking various components, simply removed some decorative pieces that were installed originally that were blocking the gas flow...Just before leaving, to our surprise, the technician said there would be a service charge. We disagreed so the tech called his Mgr. Mario, the supervisor, said to us basically, too bad, it was over a year, and we were no longer under warranty so we had to pay for the service call...if we didn't pay they would no longer honor any other aspects of the contract. He was saying we waited 2 years! which, of course, was not the case. Anyway, deal with them at your own risk, but we would highly suggest that you shop elsewhere and find a shop that will actually stand by their work much better than we experienced here...

Try not to buy anything from them. Here is my story: I bought Kamado Joe Classic II from them. The same product was available at Costco with 100CAD less but I decided to buy from them to support local business and also having a peace of mind that if something happens I can refer to them and they can fix the issue. Two days after the delivery I opened the box and I noticed a big crack at the bottom of the unit and I asked them for a replacement. I provided them with a video demonstrating the crack and they claimed that they contacted Komado Joe and Kamado Joe has answered that the crack is not important beside they said the crack is not big. Well, I was not happy with this typical answer and I asked them to replace or to return and they told me they will not accept the return even though I have not set any fire on the unit. I just opened the box and I saw the crack. Their reason is that I opened the box. They didn't accept it and they behaved extremely rudely. By the way, I paid 1600CAD. So you decide if you want to purchase anything from them.

We recently had problems with our HEAT AND GLO three sided propane fireplace which we enjoy very much. Thanks to Dominic and his technician, Alain, the problems were solved. The entire team was so supportive and professional.We have two propane fireplaces from them and we would recommend Norea Foyers Vaudreuil highly as we have always had great service from them. I had a problem with my gas fireplace.Once again i contacted norea foyer Vaudreuil.As usual, my call was taken by a very efficient receptionist, Marie.She listened patiently and informed me she would discuss my situation with a technician.She returned my call and my problem was resolved ..I can’t say enough good things about the service and staff and I highly recommend the company.
