Bought a bushnell rangefinder from them, the communication and transaction were very smooth, they shipped out very fast and arrived to my door the next day although I only paid for 5days shipping. Would buy from them again!

Experienced terrible customer service by the guy sitting by the computer with their back turned on customers while a boy was handling the front desk. Was just browsing through their items while they were retrieving my laptop for pick-up and was confronted with a horrible attitude and condescending tone when asking about the price of an item they had in their showcase. Definitely not returning there for any more loans and I highly DO NOT recommend people to even visit this place.

Just no….This place used to be a “go to” but sadly those days have passed. Know exactly what gold is worth before going to sell anything. I came in with a gold bangle and was offered a fraction of what scrap gold is worth by the gram. The day I went in gold is 46.30 a gr and he offered 30?! I felt it was laughable considering the bracelet is a high demand item you wouldn’t melt but even if you did I’ve never heard of a place not paying the value of gold for that day. So be careful or you will get scammed here.

For the past 15 -20 years This shop has helped me through challenging times for which I’m ever so grateful also my late father was a customer . The staff has been nothing but professional and friendly. I’ve never had a negative experience here. For this reason if they have electronics I need I will go to this place .

These people are genuine good people .My cell phone was stolen on December 10 and it ended up at their pawnshop a few days after Christmas.They immediately emailed me through the iCloud and let me know that Someone had Dropped my cell phone off there that said they found it on the street.They Found my contact info through the iCloud on the stolen phone and emailed me to let me know they had it there And they would like to return it to the rightful owner.This shows a lot of integrity which reflects on their business. I would highly recommend A-1 trade and Loan on Commercial Drive in Vancouver .

Visited this location twice and impressed with the security of the premise and nicely displayed items. I picked up used camera lens each time I was there, prices are generally very reasonableTurned out both lenses, after some cleaning and adjustments were excellent copies that produced surprisingly good pictures....see attached.Both times, the service there have been very decent and Mark is pleasure to deal with.

My old compact Canon camera kicked the bucket. None of the new compact models seemed to have the right features. I scoured the web and found a used one at A-1 Trade & Loan. I phoned, they answered the phone quickly and were happy to put it aside for me. When I got there the next day, I was very impressed with the shop itself. I wasn't sure what to expect but it just had a great atmosphere. The service was what impressed me the most, however. The two gentlemen behind the counter were helping someone else but immediately acknowledged my presence. When I mentioned I was picking up the camera, the shop owner went to get it. They took the time to let me test it to my satisfaction by putting in the charged battery and finding a memory card. At no point were they pushy or giving me any sales" talk. Honestly
