I joined CBJJ about 9 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I've made. Professor Chino is incredibly talented, hard working, and completely dedicated to his students. His instruction style suits students of all skill levels.I had never trained any form of martial arts before joining CBJJ, and yet I felt immediately at home. Both Chino, and all my peers, have a contagious positive vibe. It forces you to be better not only at Jiu Jitsu, but as a fellow human.

Professor Chino is a calm and patient teacher. He challenges his students to not only develop their jiujitsu skills but also life skills like self confidence, respect, responsibility and self-control. A positive space for boys and girls of all ages.

I was going through a very challenging + dark time in my life where I didn’t feel safe around males. During my darkest hour I was pulled to do a private lesson @CBJJ. I didn’t have the extra money to do it, but I knew I needed it, so I made it happen.My private sessions have been my therapy. A place where I feel safe + powerful. He is kind, respectful and a good human. I love how he reminds me to move my body with intention. He also respects and adapts the session depending on how I’m feeling energetically.
