This is a great little shop. Super busy for good reason. We got two Griz sandwiches that were very good. I do feel the shop is pretty overpriced for a bagel sandwich and I would also consider these bagels to be more of a bun or roll than what you would expect a bagel to be.

Tasty bagels, friendly staff. Known in Fernie as the best bagels in this small town. They have a dozen day old bagels for $12, which is still a little steep for day olds. A bagel with cream cheese will run you over $5, although the cc is pretty generous. Worth a visit if you are stopping by Fernie.

Big Bang Bagels
It’s a cute shop with a cool vibe but the bagels aren’t really that nice. I ordered a cheese bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese and the bagel was really just a soft cheese bun. It didn’t have any of the consistency I’d expect from either a Montreal or NY style bagel and wasn’t toasted enough.My husband also ordered whole wheat but isn’t sure that’s what he got.On the whole very disappointing considering the reviews.

Big Bang Bagels has become part of the fibre of the Fernie community. The atmosphere is fun, with a play corner for the kids filled with toys. The Bagels are so fresh that they are soft and warm, right out of the oven. Their sandwiches are made with care and filled with fresh ingredients. We stop at BBB every time we ski in Fernie.

Always a required stop when coming to Fernie. The Salmon Switchback is always my go to and never fails. They have a huge selection of fresh bagles and the ace smells amazing. I can't wait to try da bomb.

Such great bagels! Awesome prices, fun menu options, and good service. We had an awesome time grabbing our bagels after a day of hiking and also stopped by again on our way out of Fernie.
