Gerber installed a patio and composite deck for us and we were very pleased with the attention to detail that Tex showed with the deck. John and Jacob were always prompt responding to questions by e-mail and were flexible if we changed our minds about certain aspects of the design. We would recommend this company.

After a terrible experience with another landscaping company, who cancelled the big project I had planned a year after booking them, Gerber Landscaping came in to save the day. They had done some work at my neighbour’s home and so I asked them if they would be able to fit me in last minute to build a backyard patio and front porch landing that worked with my budget. They were honest, realistic, and communicative with timelines, and got my job done by summer’s end. I was really specific with what I wanted for my design and was able to pick out the interlocking stones and Eramosa stone steps I had hoped for. The crew they brought in was efficient, friendly, and very hardworking, and although there was a language barrier with all but one of the crew, we managed to understand each other enough to make things run smoothly. The helped bring my vision to life, did a great job, and finished everything up in just two days! Brenda, who was supervising the job, was also super friendly, had great attention to detail, and helped mitigate any hiccups that occurred, so that all was remedied quickly. I would definitely recommend Gerber for your hardscaping/landscaping project.

This company has condo contracts - to clear snow and to also maintain properties at condo's. They do a horrible job. They don't show up when they are supposed to, they wreck lawns/trees/landscaping, and they don't clear snow properly. But there is always an excuse with them as to why things are the way they are.They seem to get good reviews if they are doing work on a single property - which doesn't make any sense to me. Not one person there has any pride in their work or work ethic. The work is not checked and if you make a complaint, a bandaid solution is done, if you're lucky to get a solution at all.I could go on here for hours but I would avoid this company at all costs - they may be a little cheaper than the next guy but it will end up costing you more in the long run to fix the issues this company causes.

We have used Gerber Landscaping on a few occasions in the past, including deck reconstruction, wood gates, and railings.We are very pleased with the finished work, in both the quality of construction and in their professionalism. Jacob responds to any questions in a timely manner and his timelines are always met. His work crews are friendly and willing to answer any questions.

These guys are fantastic.Gerber Landscaping is an honest, transparent and professional company. John and Jacob worked with my husband and I to create a back deck solution that fit with our expanding family and within our budget. The crew they sent to remove our old deck and install our new deck were phenomenal and incredibly hard working - sometimes spending up to 12 hours on site to finish the days work and keep the project on time.In the future we will need to do some front landscaping and driveway work. I won't even bother calling any other companies to obtain quotes, I'll just call you guys directly to get the process started.Thank you so much for everything - we are super happy with the end result and incredibly grateful we found your company! Amazing company to deal with, they were able to really help create an amazing design for the new front stairway on my house. The natural stone turned out amazing. If you want a company that can plan and design a hardscaping job and present it to you to really help give you a vision for the amazing work they will do Gerber is the company to use. They are very transparent and very professional. I look forward to using them again for some more spring work on my property.

Gerber Landscaping did some work for us a few years ago after we bought our house in Fergus, so when we decided to install a new paving stone patio, we contacted them again, received a quote, and firmed up the order. After the work commenced, we discovered a structural issue with the sunroom which had to be addressed before we could proceed with the installation of the patio. Gerber made a detailed inspection and advised that they could make the structural repairs and replace the defective material at the base of the sunroom. This work was done expeditiously without any unnecessary delays to the project. The patio was completed within a week and we are extremely pleased with the quality of work and the attention to detail. Also, there is virtually no damage to lawns and gardens, due to the plywood that was laid in areas where they worked. I highly recommend Gerber Landscaping.

John Gerber sold the company to a inexperienced young entrepreneur and a finance investor who have changed the core values of this company and what it stood for. Since my backyard oasis has handed off mid way to the new ownership I have never been more disappointed in the project. Some photos of their work isn’t there work featured on their website and their willingness to do what’s right has been lost in the shuffle. It’s a tragedy that a reputable company like Gerber is now more concerned with profit than customer satisfaction.

I used gerber to get interlocking done at my home. They exceeded all of my expectations with a high quality job that was a hard task to complete. I highly recommend them for their services.
