These guys went from 24h operation before COVID to being closed at 12am. And now they went from 12am to 11am. Please bring back 24h it is much nicerAlso on top of that they charge higher prices on pretty much everything. The Sobeys in the south end literally has cheaper prices on nearly everything and it’s the same brand!Customer service is good though.

A nice store that really likes to overprice most of the stock. Aside from the sale items (the only things I will buy) the prices are far from competitive. Prices continue to be absurd for many items and Sobey's will not price match. I will shop at Giant Tiger and Superstore who are currently offering Price Matching; the only fair way to shop.

Superb store with all your groceries and the best part I liked was E cart no line no chaos. It was very simple and easy, I would say easier than self checkout. Just grab scan put it in the cart and pay it off that’s all. They also have students discount on every Tuesday. Thank you for saving students.

I like Sobeys because of their fresh vegetables. It is close to my home. However the prices are high, so I go to markets for super fresh vegetables from local farmers. As a senior it is hard to spread you money around for good food that is affordable.

Recently I have been running into this one cashier who always pretended he was cleaning his station and refused to check groceries out for customers. At first I genuinely thought he was working, though I never saw anyone else taking such a long time cleaning their station. But today it's been the third time of him doing this and dodging me when I was in the line waiting to check out. At this point I am wondering if I am being profiled by him because of my race and gender because I have seen him checking out groceries for other white male customers perfectly fine. Whether I was profiled or not, it's unhonestly not professional at all for him to work this way.His coworker Salim saw me waiting forever on the side, rushed to his station and helped me to check out. Thanks to him I didn't have to wait on the side until someone is in the mood to check out my groceries. Beside this issue everyone else has been so nice in the store just like Salim. Thank you for being amazing!

Organized and the staff is helpful. The fruit and veggies are fresh. The cakes from the bakery are really good as well.

I am a regular customer of Sobeys, and love to shop from lacewood branch. But I am truly disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the sales associate named Madhav. I was on the line to pay for my groceries and he was busy flirting with the customer ahead of me.And it was waste of time for me while he was taking longer time with his unnecessary talks with the lady. It was unpleasant shopping experience due to the pay counter as all other staffs were polite and friendly.July 4th 20232:11 pm

Not sure about the differemce beween the regular Sobeys and this Sobeys Extra. From what I've seen this store has more items than a standard sobeys but the trade off is slightly higher prices. Also it dosen't seem to be open on holidays unlike other stores, I've seen several people turn up on Holidays only to find the store closed.
