Lovely day in King's Pond lake

Kings Pond is the best location in Victoria for duck feeding. It also has wild birds, muskrats and turtles. Don't turn this place into Beacon Hill where the ducks are skittish and won't eat out of your hand! If your kids, or yourself, are out of control kindly stay away. Go to Beacon Hill where the ducks are used to being chased. Move slowly and act calm. They will swarm you in early spring and the fall looking for food and will actually climb on you, you've been warned! The proper food for Wild Ducks is Hen Scratch. It can be bought at Border Mercantile by Reynolds School for about 5$ a bag. DO NOT FEED THEM BREAD. Enjoy this place as I have for 30 years.
