Small family run Fish n Chips store. Service was friendly, fast and the restaurant was clean. We ordered takeout, their special of the day Haddock and fries. Fish was cooked perfect batter and crispy, the fries made from fresh potatoes and not from frozen bag. nice and crispy soft in the inside. Really enjoyed my dinner. Will definitely order more often from there. Thanks!!

Good options for different kinds of fish and I like how you can get a salad instead of fries for a healthier option. But their fries are great, thick cut crunchy exterior and soft interior. Fish is fried to perfection. You have options for 1 or 2 pieces. If you're hungry, get the 2 PC as 1 is a bit on the small side. But the quality makes up for the smaller portion of fish. It's not greasy or oily and incredibly light and crispy. The tartar sauce is a bit small (not enough for 2 PC's of fish) but they were happy to give me more when I asked for it. My one recommendation for improvement is to serve better quality ketchup to go with the delicious fries. It's not Heinz or French's and has an odd taste to it (the bottles are unmarked) I didn't enjoy the ketchup so ended up eating my fries plain or dipping in the tartar sauce.

Have been looking for a fish and chip joint as our favourite one changed ownership and no longer serves the same quality. Found out this place from a local newspaper write up and decided to try them out. Was extremely happy and satisfied with the fish and chips. Fish batter was so light , crispy and fresh! Even though the fish portion size is smaller the quality of the food makes up for it. It was not greasy and easy on the palate. Oil they used was fresh and didn't leave that heavy feeling aftertaste after digestion. Recommend this place!

Nice mom & pop business, 2 owners/staff we're friendly and accommodating. Large parking lot so no worries on finding parkingOrdered 2 lunch specials (cod or haddock), fries & pop $9.95. Great deal as fries were plentiful, crispy and one large fish portion.A slight wait as fish/fries are cooked to order. Fish has a nice light tempura like batter which compliments the fish. Fries were hand cut and not the frozen varietyAs usually, why is it only a small portion of tartar sauce given verses the amount of fish, must be a conspiracy amongst all the fish & chip restaurants to limit the amount of tartar sauce given to customers. They did have malt vinegar & ketchup on the tables though.Very pleasant lunch and value for your money

Unfortunately, the fish and chips were heavy with oil and it didn’t agree with our stomachs. I wish them the best! I like to support our local restaurant but unfortunately it was sub standard for our liking.

We came here to try out the local fish & chip shop nearby and was greeted with friendly staff and a cozy home-style atmosphere. Tried the cod and chips dinner, halibut on a bun & the poutine. Delicious, light and fairly priced!

Very nice, cozy atmosphere, not fancy gourmet style, but the food more than makes up for it. We had the halibut and fresh cut fries and sweet potato fries. It was excellent. Fish was very tasty. Fries was hot and delicious. Tarter sauce was creamy and went well with the fish. Lots of free convenient parking. Would highly recommend Amy's fish and chips and would definitely be back. Thanks, Amy, for a great meal.

The best fish and chips that I've had in a very long time. The chips were surprisingly quite good - crispy and chunky. We ordered cod, haddock and halibut in a bun. All fish were lightly battered and not at all oily. I ate half my chops before touching the fish - and it was still piping hot!We enjoyed everything there. At $10 each (with chips and a pop) taxes in, it was a great deal. It has become my go to fish and chips place.Another plus - the family run restaurant was very friendly and accommodating to our extra requests such as hot sauce and extra tartar sauce. We dined in and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
