Alijandro's Kitchen

This was nice little place off living arts drive. They have very fresh ingredients. Loved their fawaffle original. Basically they serve mexican salad in waffle cone. It's a bit messy but tastes reply good. They do have lots of Mediterranean dishes with a twist.

First time trying out Alijandros Kitchen. Food was good . The wings I ordered were said to be Very Hot. They weren’t at all.Ordered a salad box which was good; but we felt that it was overpriced for what we paid . Seemed like the salad was just rice 6 bean medley corn and some tomatoes. Also I found it difficult to eat the salad with a spork

Well a decent spot for quick takeaway! Why I say so is this is not the authentic Mexican food or middle eastern food- it's a fusion and more inclining towards the middle eastern food!Alejandro bowl - rice + salad is really good but again they do add the beans to give a Mexican feeling but the sauces and option seem like shawarma box. No complains this was very tasty!The taboon taco are tasty but not the actual taco, the taco is soft and kind of similar to pita or a thick roti , no disappoinment since the taste is good.They do have good choice of sauces.

Having marked for a long time, finally made it here. On a Sunday afternoon the place almost deserted. The ones manager Ali is my guess was very helpful and welcoming. Explained what the menu was and suggested is vegan options for all three vegans. We were in for a light snack and hence (still) ordered a Original and Stuffed Spud with sweet potato as a choice.The Original waffle cone is the star. Made from chickpeas and this gluten free and it was vegan. The stuffing was ok. Nothing original about that, bunch of vegetables with a date and tamarind hummus ( but more like a dressing than a hummus). A unique flavour for sure. Sweet anD tangy.The stuffed potato was great. Huge size with lots of toppings and quit filling. The beans were spicy and were great for me.Also had a mango mint lemonade which reminded me of a (south western) Indian raw mango drink (Panna). Good flavour and refreshing.

Delicious fusion food. I had the Jalapeno Mac-n-Cheese Balls to start, and the Fawaffle Avo Chicken" as main. Both tasted good

I tried their Al Pastor Chicken Tacos with extra avocado at the Ontario College Information Fair and I was mindblown. The truck had quite a line eagerly awaiting to order.The service was a bit slow but it was worth the wait. The chicken had a lot of flavor and their zesty garlic cream was the cherry on top for a glorious set of tacos.The truck staff was cheerful, patient and accomodating. I also liked that they used what seemed to be very thin pitas instead of tortillas for the tacos. This kept them from falling apart and made the meal quite filling.

Attentive and friendly service, the food is tasty and portion is good. We had the bowl, with half salad, half rice, beans, chicken, mushroom, and crunchy chickpeas on top. Also had the mac n cheese balls, which are amazing!

A bit expensive but really delicious food with large servings.If you are walking past their shop, you cannot help but smell the great food. This is what drove us in to try them out and we are glad we did.We tried the Alijandro's Box which you can get with rice or salad or half/half. It is quite a lot of food; plenty of tender meat blended with their unique spices, tons of salad, beans, salsa & a bit of garlic, tahini & hot sauce! And it all tastes great together.If you work near square one or just visiting, try them out. We are definitely going again to try more of the menu items.
