Chris’s work is nothing short of amazing! I brought him a deer hide to have done up as a rug last fall. When I got the call that my deer was ready I brought my teenage son with me. Not only was my rug amazing! The leather was soft and the fur was so clean and comforting. When we got home my son confiscated my deer to his room. He lays it on his bed at night and puts it on his desk chair while he does his homework. My son tells me I’m never getting the deer back. To me that’s a sign as to how good Chris’s work really is!! Not only his his work superb, Chris took the time to show my son around his shop, all the different animals that Chris is working on some of the different techniques that he has to do to each and every animal to preserve these memories for each harvest. Chris is not only good at what he does, he’s a good person and ambassador for his profession. Keep up the good work Chris! I’ll be bringing my next deer to you and maybe get another rug that I can have for myself next year.

I brought Chris my first buck to create a Euro Mount. What I got was beyond what I expected. Chris puts his heart into his work and it shows. Definitely has the natural artistic skill set to be in the business. We’ve taken quite a few things in to him over the last year, his work has actually outshined a few others that I’ve seen over the years. If you’re looking for tanning, euros or mounts everything I’ve seen in his shop is great.

Tall tines is more dedicated to furs and does less mounts than he used to. He's committed to quality and I'm a repeat customer. I see a few crazy 1 star ratings and noticed none have any photos of condition before and after to show any mistakes". I am currently waiting on my second deer from him and have my first velvet ever

Top notch quality and service. I take all of my taxidermy projects to Chris. His attention to detail will rival even the most seasoned trapper. I have always been a firm believer in using as much of the animals you harvest as possible. It’s hard to find anyone with experience who KNOWS how to properly flesh, preserve, tan, and finish a fur like him. He’s always fast to reply to any questions you might have about proper prep and storage of your trophy prior to bringing it in for preservation - regardless if you bring it to him or another taxidermist.
