Islamic Society of Vaughan

Yesterday i.e. on 2nd of April 2023, we broke the fast in this Islamic Society of Vaughan mosque, it is with great regret and shame that I have to write this that there was a very poor arrangement of food, there was no system of any kind, there were very rude people who were giving the plate. They were thinking that those who are about to break the fast are poor, when they forgot that those who were there were better than them in every respect. Those organizing the fast looked like the place where people are craving for bread, blood is being shed for flour, these are the people who will not be healed even after going to heaven. Some were being fed so much and some were being given very little food.It was a sign of women's bad manners that they should not share the Iftar with anyone, which they had brought, and a new Muslim girl was sitting there, no one was sharing her food. Just talking, making noise, bringing children who were not even from China, and there was crying in the whole mosque because of the children. There was a crowd of ignorant people.

Very Convenient place to offer Namaz especially if you have visited Canada’s wonderland or nearby area in Vaughan. Enormous space for both Men and women and also they have islamic Madrasa. Pleasant and calm atmosphere and offers a huge parking space. As this Musallah is in a plaza so it wouldn’t considered as a Masjid hence ruling would be applied as per Musallah. Not a Sunni Barelvi Mosque though! The quotes represented outside are really deep and worthwhile to imply on a real life and practice the Islamic way of life.

It’s a good mosque and is very well organized. Do note that there’s a lot of people in the first Jumma prayer hence, women are asked to join in the second one. Make sure you’re in the mosque before the qutba starts as they tend to lock the doors once they’re at capacity.Once the Grand mosque they’re building come to fruition, we’ll never have to face issues with accommodating people. Mashallah this is a beautiful masjid with a beautiful community, I’ve recently moved 40+mins away from Vaughan after spending the last year living in the area, I still choose to come to this masjid some throughout Ramadan and for Jummah’s as I respect and value how this masjid is run from what I’ve experienced from the community here. There’s no majority of any community here and as a revert Muslimah I also feel very welcomed and that I belong here. May Allah SWT continue to put barakah in this masjid, the community and the programs here and may they see their Grand Masjid very soon In sha Allah this community is in need of the space and is well deserved, May Allah SWT continue our efforts in striving towards the Deen. Ameen

One of the great place for the community services. Very clean facility with excellent sound system and ambiance. Volunteers are doing extra ordinary work to maintain this facility for the community. I live in Calgary and travel to Vaughan ON for work. This place is very conveniently located to the hotel I stay. Will come back to this Center on my next trip InshaAllah.
