Enercheck New Brunswick

Two months waiting for first report, now being told have wait another additional 40 days to begin the loan process. ***update*** now 6 months deep into this, absolutely brutally slow company, had to wait 3 months to install heat pump, now I’m bridging 17.5k investment for 3 months and going while I wait for them to send me a piece of paper to complete my greener homes loan and grant applications. Seemed good at first visit but they apparently have no people to data enter causing months of delays. Just trying to call them is impossible-days to call back and still no answers…. I have shared this experience with anyone I know considering going through the programs.

10/10 experience with the initial assessment for my home in Nova Scotia. The gentleman who completed the review was polite, thoughtful, and extremely considerate of having to move things or messes that may be made when removing attic doors. Great guy and efficient!

Booked Enerchek to do a greener homes energy assessment. The guy came, did the assessment, made his recommendation, and told me I should have the official report in two weeks or so. I went and found a contractor to install heat pumps, but need the report completed in order to process the greener homes 0% financing option. After two weeks I tried to email Enerchek, and got an auto reply saying they would reply in 2-4 business days. After not hearing back from them in that time frame, I attempted to call them, and was greeted with a voicemail that said again, they would call back in 2-4 business days. After STILL not receiving a call back I reached out to Efficiency NS who administers the program, to try and get ahold of them on my behalf. Efficiency NS has been trying to get them to contact me for almost 3 weeks now with no luck. The quote from my heat pump contractor is about to expire. DONOT DO BUSINESS WITH ENERCHEK. They will take your $200 and then ghost you.

I remain disappointed that your business practice is to prioritize the volume of on-site assessments at the expense of completing the job in a timely fashion.Can you imagine if your auto mechanic operated this way? If you had to pay up front for them to evaluate your vehicle, and have them say yes you need a new steering wheel

I had earlier posted a review of 5 star for the person that actually done the assessment as he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was also very helpful with suggestions and explanations. At the time I toought I would have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the report from the office so rated that only a 3 star. However I received my report within a few days so now overall I rate Enercheck a 5 star. Very pleased with all their work and will recommend.

It was a pleasure dealing with the Enercheck Solution Staff. Their proffesionalism and knowledge of the program and the technical aspect of the evaluation provided us confidence that the results ov the evaluation would be correct and factual. The technician, which evaluated the home, was open to question and provided concise and clear answers. They left the home as clean as it was when they arrived... Overall, i strongly recommend this team to provide true and precise evaluations on your energy consumption footprint.

The energy efficiency consultant -Alison, was extremely thorough, provided me with necessary information and shared her findings with me. I was very comfortable with her working in my home.
