Not a good experience. The one at the counter does not know the requirement and not ready to listen. Why is she even working there. Went there for my health card and she rejected my employment letter. Disgusting. Wasted my 2 hrs. Got OHIP with same docs from other location.

The black lady(identification) - counter number 2Date May 31 2023.Thanks for being rude and equally racist at time. We have been there for getting a new health card. She should have helped us out and not instruct us in rude manner as she did. Thanks for making our time troublesome for stupid questioning of proof of addresses, even though we made everything clear and subtle and made us wait almost an hour as we are lacking just one block of imformation. The two others employees on the either side were so calm and helpful. My bad luck I got appointed to her.BE CAUTIOUS OF HER.If you are reading this review, you better mend your ways and be respectful and value the customer's time. It does not give you authority to be bossy while working for government office you are still a server to your customers.Thanks.

I walked into this place to apply for my health card. The receptionist checks the documents and gives a token number. I was waiting there for 2 hrs to call my token number. After that they found a mistake in my job letter and the lady at counter 17 refused my application so rudely.Anybody who wants quick and polite service go to 590 Rossland Rd, Whitby. You'll be pleased.

Fantastic experience which I really wasn't expecting. First of all, I visited this location at about 12.30 today and the receptionist was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She sorted all of my documents out for me before giving me a number for the tellers.I had to wait for about 1 hour 30 minutes before my number was called, but I didn't have an appointment so I didn't mind. The teller which eventually served me was very helpful and sweet. She had to clarify some things with another team member but was ultimately able to help me.Only confusing thing was the ticket system itself. Some of the numbers called started with 'AA', others 'V' and others H0', so it was difficult to work out my place in the queue because there didn't seem to be an obvious logic to it.

I went in with an 8.30 am appointment. You will have to be in line even if you have an appointment. But you will be called to join the appointment line once it opens. The process was super smooth for OHIP. Finished the whole process in 20 min.Advice: Try to book an appointment to avoid waiting time.

I went to the Service Ontario on 700 Lawrence Ave. W. to submit my passport application. I arrived there at around 11:30 am on a Thursday. There were 5 people lining up ahead of me. Not long after I lined up an employee came out and let 4 people inside. From then on I waited 45 minutes before the employee came out again to let 3 people in. Once in, I was directed to the reception counter where the employee asked the purpose of my visit and registered me on their ticket system. Then I was directed to find a seat and wait for someone to call my name. That's another 30 minutes wait. I think there are 10 counters but only half the staff occupied the counters on that day. When my name was called, I went to meet with the employee to process my application. That took about 20 minutes. The employee was polite so I'm quite glad. This is my first time going to 700 Lawrence W. This location is smaller compares to 42 Sheppard E. I'd recommend always check online to see if you can book your appointment to avoid lining up. I had had much better experience at 42 Sheppard E. than at 700 Lawrence W.

Idiots working for the government can't even do there jobs can't read can't speak english They told me i need proof of my daughters bertcitifacte and the pdf copy wasn't enough tell that to the cra who excepts them and that's after i spoke to booth 16 and confirmed everything i need she said that's fine. so why did i stand there for 3 hrs then to be told come back tomorrow and you will be first in line why do i need to come back when i have the berthcerrificate you are supposed except the pdf copy not tell someone to come back tomorrow that's wrong and i feel discriminated. You even called someone to confirm if it was ok when i went to get her healt card i used the same pdf copy and it was ok explain that i'm gonna speak to someone who will help me with this is wrong on many levels

Came here to renew on a weekday about 10:30am. There’s a line for appointments and a line for walk-ins, the appointment line moves faster. The staff communicated really clearly about capacity and waiting, at some point the facility reached capacity and they communicated to the walk-ins that they would be holding the line and continuing to process the people who booked appointments. Appreciated the communication and professionalism. Had to wait a long time (3 hours) but the staff were moving really efficiently and doing their best to get people through. Pretty painless and straightforward. Just don’t go in a rush and expect to be finished quickly.
