Despite my service and membership to Alliance they did not provide financial assistance when I needed it for grad school. What is the point of being in a denomination that doesn't help its own members? Despite protestants belittling the Roman Catholics, at least they provide support for their students. Even the HA helps with scholarships. The Alliance is a business that only provides assistance to seminary students. I'm ending my membership and service. It is better to enter poverty with a church that will actually be there for me.
