Josh is really good at figuring out vehicle problems and explaining them to me. His mechanics are adept and careful, the work done quickly and carefully. He's been my mechanic for 4 - 5 years and my 2009 Subaru is running fine.

I cannot say enough great things about this location. We have had to deal with first choice a couple of times now, and the experience is always pleasant. They are knowledgeable, friendly, reasonable, and their customer service is second to none. I refuse to go to any other mechanic.

I was relying on the Google Reviews to find honest and reliable shops for my needs. However, this one is a bad one. I wonder why there are still so many great reviews...Can the shop delete bad reviews or maybe just negotiated with the people who put on bad reviews so that they can remove them?I went in for a pre-purchase inspection. It was for an old Subaru Forester. This shop told me that the vehicle is in great shape even with almost 200,000 km on it. I was so happy and purchased that vehicle right away. However, after the first a couple weeks of driving, when I went into another shop for an oil change, they told me that the head gasket was leaking...the repair was quote for about $3,600...If Best Choice Auto could have caught this issue during their 200 points inspection, I would not have to hit by this huge repair bill...

Great service, and very friendly and trustworthy. Did my AC recharge and it's working like a charm now.

Brought my car in for an out of province inspection. They were prompt, polite, up front with the cost of the inspection, communicative, and even sourced some needed parts from a wrecker for me instead of just ordering straight from the dealer for convenience, which I consider going above and beyond and saved me a significant amount of money. I am very happy with the service I recieved and would definitely go back if I needed work done in the future.

Went in for replacement of my brakes and rotors and to get a quote on tires. While my car was in, they found out that other parts also needed to be replaced. Spoke to Josh on the phone about everything and he provided a very thorough and detailed report with pricing and why things needed to be done. Customer service overall at this shop was amazing and I will definitely be coming back!

Daughter's car shocks went on HWY 2 and just inside the city blew a tire too, AMA towed to Best Choice Auto - 200 km from home on the Sunday of a long weekend - did not have much choice. It could not have been a better referral! Come Tuesday we had to handle it all over the phone. Gord and Josh were great. Honest. Fair. Excellent customer service. A very positive experience. Highly recommend Best Choice Automotive!!

I've been coming here for a couple years now and they always treat me right and take excellent care of my vehicle. The customer service is top notch and they know that building a strong professional relationship with customers is key. Long story short, they really are the best choice!

Amazed by their service and professionalism.I got an engine oil leak inspected here. On this day they had a technician who had called in sick but they were able to quickly get my car checked.Upon inspection, they found that the engine valve cover is loose which clogged the spark plug tubes with oil.They asked me if I had the engine valve cover replaced recently and cause if it was then it was not tightened to spec.I indeed had it replaced at another shop a month prior to this visit. As per their recommendation, I took the car to the previous shop to get the issue resolved without any charge.I am extremely pleased with Best Choice Automotive and I would highly recommend their service. Kudos to the staff working there.

Took my car in because I've taken it elsewhere and the mechanics charge but don't fully fix. Or they install products they know only last a 6 months to a year.Not only did Best Choice find everything that was wrong but also found suspect work done by another car shop.They printed out a detailed list of all that was wrong so I was able to confront this other shop about their terrible work.Best Choice helped me out with the price on the inspect alone cause they felt bad about how I wasn't getting good service for what I was paying at this other car shop (fountain tire). The only reason I got my car out was to get FT to refix their mistakes, but if I could I would have went to Best Choice years ago to avoid all this nonsense.Highly recommend Best Choice. When my power steering falls apart in 4 months because I took it to FT for the 6th time, I'll be sure to take it to a shop that will be honest and make sure my money/time matters.Thanks guys!
