It was an anniversary dinner and the service, food, and atmosphere was above expectations. Fine dinning experience that was done with kind professional service. The food and the presentations were top shelf.

Woodstock has outdone itself! What a gem. With local suppliers, this beauty shines. Enjoyed Scallops and meatballs with whipped smoked feta for appy, amuse bush was a feta puff , delish. Main was excellent cod and 8 oz of stip loin, both excellent. Reminder, you're not coming her to get over stuffed, but you will have your senses satisfied. We finished with waffle ice cream sandwich and lemon creme Brule. If in the region, stop by. Dinner with 4 drinks and tip rounded out at 255.

Absolutely wonderful experience at the chef's table (tasting menu). The courses were all plated beautifully, great attention to detail. Attentive service. We really enjoyed the conversation with our server (Erica, honourable mention to Zach the sommelier) and the kitchen staff (Eric, Sam and Pete); the whole experience was very educational. Each dish was explained in detail and the staff were very conscious of my dietary restrictions.Not pictured: the amuse Bouche is usually served with prosciutto (I don't eat pork), bread course - homemade foccaccia, and apple cider spiced rum sorbet (not served to me due to an allergy)We would be happy to return the next time we visit the area.

Such a great experience, intimate setting and beautiful food. Everything was amazing, loved all the little pallet cleansers. Very friendly staff and the attention to detail is perfect, the food and drinks are made by people who care about what they’re serving, highly recommend!

The first thing that you see at Sixthirtynine is the intimate setting. It is a quaint gem located just off of the Woodstock downtown core. There isn't much fine dining in the city, but Sixthirtynine fills the culinary gap.I chose to do the pre-fixed tasting menu for February ($115.00) which I highly recommend. From the first dish (an oyster served with a trout tartar on a rice crispy), you could tell that the chef(s) and put thought into each element. Soup, pate, pork belly, and wagu were all excellent and there was not a single weak dish on the menu.Bouncing between surf, turf, savoury and sweet was an exhilarating journey with elements connecting each dish to support the rotating dishes.The dishes were high end without being intimidating and the servers were more than happy to explain the components of the dish if we were unsure of what we were being served.I will be back again most definately and I look forward to another amazing meal at Sixthirtynine!

I've been to the chef's table twice since I discovered it existed. I cannot recommend it enough. The Sixthirtynine team take great pride in their farm-to-table philosophy and are all about elevating flavours, featuring local ingredients grown and farmed with love.Never expected something so special in Woodstock, Ontario but I'm glad I found this place.To the entire staff, thank you for your ongoing hospitality and wonderful gastronomic vision.Also, please get yourself a Blondie, if it is available.

Had an absolutely incredible experience here. We did the tasting menu. I was so impressed by the quality of food and service. It was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent experience from start to finish, would highly recommend!Appetizer cheese and mushrooms was astonishingly flavourful, lamb was melt in your mouth delicious, and rubarb stroopwaffle dessert was a brilliant creation!Pasta dish was a little prettier than tasty, but overall definitely worth going.Especially with the amuse bouche and sorbet pallet cleanser thrown in!!

My partner and I had an amazing night out at Sixthirtynine and as avid foodies, we tried the Chef's Table experience. It did not disappoint - Sam and Josh were excellent Chef hosts, answering our kitchen-specific and cooking questions, and sharing with us a bit about the world of cuisine and their backgrounds. We also had friendly service from Teagan, who was excellent - she checked in just enough and made sure our glasses were always full. Great conversation and friendly service from the whole team.The food was fresh and full of flavour. We enjoyed everything immensely! We had the pulled berkshire pork butterballen and dry aged beef tar-tar for apps (both were excellent) and for mains, the seared rainbow trout and roasted duck breast (again both excellent, the fish was particularly good and had lots of texture in the dish). We would highly recommend the experience and will return again. Thank you for hosting us!
