Browns Shoe Repairs

Excellent service from this shop. I turned up first thing on a Saturday morning needing to get a set of keys copied as soon as possible. They let my dog come into the shop with me, and then cut the new keys immediately while I waited - it took them about 5 mins and the keys worked perfectly afterward. Highly recommended.

I took my Vibram hiking boots in to be resoled ,he did a fantastic job and would highly recommend them

They repeared unrepeatable Nike air max trainers after my son punctured it and couldn't wear it anymore. Great job.Very nice staff.Highly recommended

Vibram soles and great work with a smile.Clive is an artist, fast but detail oriented. I am very happy with how my (second hand) loafers are now more comfortable and have more traction with this solesavers. I really liked the finishing of his work. I have attached pictures. Will follow up as this are my first Vibram soles ever.Edit 1:My loafer's soles show no deterioration after hours of walk. Pretty exciting to think this soles might last years (I walk a lot).Edit 2:I've come all the way from Plymouth to drop my chukka boots and Clint has mail them back to me after a resoling (posted pics of package and boots). They look beautiful and are maybe more comfortable then with original soles. The upper feels as comfortable as before (no change there). Great work, very happy.

called in there at 5 pm had broken my only car key. they checked they could sort a replacement for me, said it would take about 15 minutes, I went back 15 minutes laterand to my relief they had fixed it for me. They were also two nice guys, thoroughly recommend them

I took a pair of shoes to be resolved which two other shops including timpsons had said they couldn't repair Brown's did a superb job on them and I would recommend them to others

A simple battery replacement on a g-shock gst-2100 resulted in the time and date no longer setting to the correctlyThis was a while ago as at first I didn't notice because I kept the watch in question for best. When I did and I inquired back they were rude and acted as though I shouldn't expect them to be able to sort itIt went back in the draw for a little over a year due to covid restrictions and financial issues and now I find out it will cost £100+ to fixHence why I am now leaving the reviewDont take any watch there that you cannot adjust the time manually they are not upto the job

Thank you so much, caught the owner after 5:30, needed shoes polishing as I have a national trade show to attend and I am leaving at 5am tomorrow. Most people would have rightly turned me away but he did it for me anyway. I’m really grateful - thank you!
