I found Art of Headshot when I was looking for a professional LinkedIn photo for my job search. We had two shoots together: one indoors and another outdoors. From the moment of arrival, Carlos was warm and welcoming. We had a great conversation about what I was looking for and how they related to my goals, which helped me fully embody confidence and feel at ease in front of the camera. Throughout the whole experience we were sharing laughs and stories, and the photos turned out amazing at the end. Carlos took my pictures back in 2015 and it is the best investment that I have made since then. I have used the pictures countless of times for a great array of purposes ranging from communication materials to social media and website profiles, and everything in between. What I love the most of these pictures is my facial expressions and the glow in my eyes. Carlos was able to really capture my essence in each one of these pictures because of his approach of taking them. I am glad that my first professional photograph was taken by Carlos. I never liked my photos being taken by but Carlos made the whole experience relaxing, personal, and fun. As a former counselor, he has a unique ability to bring out the best side of you by getting to know you and engaging you throughout the process. He is also very patient and took extra time with me to experiment different shots until I was completely satisfied. Carlos is a really fantastic photographer. Carlos' strength is his personality. He is a great conversationalist and knows how to get people talking. In getting you to share your thoughts and opinions you become more animated and relaxed. Being relaxed made it easy for him to capture the confidence that I was hoping to project in my headshot. Carlos took my headshots recently for a newspaper article. Let me start by saying that I hate getting my pictures taken... Carlos did an amazing (!!!!!) job at keeping me comfortable and natural in front of the camera and it translated through to the pictures, which he retouched expertly and quickly with the rush service option. I did the branding package, so that I could have additional photos to use for website, LinkedIn etc. Sending the rest of my team there for some updated headshots, and would definitely refer my friends and colleagues to Carlos.
