Jane is wonderful to work with and we absolutely recommend her to anyone who is deciding on an officiant. Like many others, our wedding plans changed several times during the pandemic, but Jane guided us through all of it.She is very warm, easy to talk to and her communication was clear and helpful. She was also very accommodating throughout our various date and venue changes.Jane helped us decide how we wanted our ceremony to go by giving us samples and examples of different intros, readings, and passages. It really allowed us to have the ceremony that fit who we are as a couple.She is very professional and has a network of backups just in case anything were to happen that would cause her absence on the wedding day.Jane is a joy to work with and she steered us through the process in a way that made it fun and exactly to our liking. Jane was the officiant for mine and my husbands wedding in June 2022. We were overjoyed with how our ceremony went. Jane is genuinely a friendly and warm person and she brought that warmth with her to our ceremony. She gave use lots of useful resources to draw inspiration from when writing our vows. The entire ceremony was customized to us with readings that we had selected and we knew everything that Jane was going to say during the ceremony. We met with Jane 3 times before the wedding: first for coffee/introductions, then to kickoff writing the ceremony and then to rehearse with our bridal party and family. We were so happy with how it turned out and received compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Thank you Jane!

Where do I even begin! Jane was the absolute perfect addition to our wedding and we couldn't be more thrilled that she was able to officiate our ceremony. From our first meeting with Jane we knew that we had to work with her. Throughout the planning process Jane was available by phone and email with all of our questions, and when it came close to our wedding time she went out of her way to accommodate meeting us close to our home. Sitting down with her for coffee instantly melted our worries away as she walked us through the process and what we could expect on our day. We had the opportunity to personalize our ceremony to fit us, and reflect who we are. When it came to the rehearsal she was quick to offer her time and services so we both felt comfortable the day of our wedding. She even took extra time to chat with my grandparents and make sure that they felt comfortable and calm with what our wedding day would look like - since they were helping walk me down the aisle. When it came to the day, Jane was so sweet, and truly made our ceremony unforgettable! We feel so honoured to have been able to work with her, and share such a special day with her. My only advice is to not wait booking her for your wedding! She is truly so kind, caring, compassionate and you can tell how much she cares for the couples she works with! Jane is truly a gem. We truly lucked out in being able to have her be our wedding commissioner. We initially met with her at a Starbucks and we were blown away by what a kind and authentic professional we were dealing with. We jived with Jane immediately, and were so pleased she would be the one with us on our special day. The correspondence back and forth was always timely and she was so attentive to our needs. She was so incredible with helping us personalize our ceremony. We loved that we were able to use her ideas and advice to customize the perfect wording for our ceremony to make it unique and our own. We had a very small wedding, and so did not need to go through a rehearsal. We didn’t feel nervous at all even without the rehearsal. Jane made us feel very prepared and comfortable about everything. Jane also has a PA system which really helped project our voices as our ceremony was outdoors. She has an amazing personality and was so thoughtful, friendly and fun throughout the whole process. My husband and I had the immense pleasure of having Jane officiate our wedding this past weekend. We had never been able to meet in person until our rehearsal, but Jane's positivity, warm and engaging personality, and calming presence made her the best addition to our day.She gave us excellent direction and made everyone feel at ease in an exciting and also nerve-wracking time! She provided many options for the ceremony and allowed us to really make it our own and ensure that it was exactly what we had envisioned.We would recommend Jane's services to anyone, and we are so thankful that we were able to have her as a part of our big day.

Jane came highly recommended to us by our photographer, Cole Hofstra. She was the only commissioner we met with as she is so friendly, easy-going, and genuinely passionate about officiating weddings, that we knew we had to have her!After only a couple virtual meetings with Jane, she began to feel like an old friend. She made planning our ceremony seamless by providing examples and allowing us to make any changes to feel more personalized and meaningful to us. She was responsive to our questions, attentive to detail, organized, and punctual.Jane is also kind and generous to go out of her way to accommodate her couples' needs. She drove to Banff two days in a row for our rehearsal and wedding bringing her own cordless mic and amp that was used for an outdoor ceremony of 130 guests. She even offered to pick up our wedding license prior to our big day as we live relatively close by and she didn't want us to have to worry about remembering (or forgetting) to pack it. Jane was also gracious and understanding when our ceremony started approximately 15-minutes late due to a delay with the transportation company we had hired.We're so glad we chose Jane to marry us. She brought her positive energy and warmth to our wedding day that will be remembered by her bright smile in our ceremony photos. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Jane as our wedding commissioner. From start to finish, Jane made navigating the entire marriage process so enjoyable for my wife and I.Leading up to the wedding, Jane made sure to answer any lingering questions, and put both our hearts and minds at ease right up to the big day.
