Bez Dance
Phenomenal place that teaches a well-rounded style of dancer. The styles offered are what dance school like the Royal Winnipeg Ballet or Alvin Ailey dance schools are looking for at auditions. If you want to be a well rounded dancer they offer classes and styles no other school offers. By the way I wasted years at Cameron Dance only to discover they were a complete fraud. My child shared with me she basically played dress up for an hour with zero basic of ballet being taught and they did not prepare my child for their RAD exam which was simply awful. Basically what has happenned is they used to have a good name for dance Cameron Dance when they had a professional dancer from Goh ballet teaching full time. Those dancers did get a solid foundation...the worst part is they treat you like a lemon...they then will lead you on an squeeze every penny out of you without providing the service...I simply hope the other parents and parents new to Langley don't become victims of the scam they are running at Cameron Dance...They make all the parents pre-pay about over $5000 for the entire year and then they don't begin teaching the exam syllabus until February when their exam is in April...by February they tell you at Cameron that you now need to come in over five days a week for a charge of $90 per private lesson at Mrs. Cameron's house ....after that you discover you are even more of a gigantic fool when you realize that she and her daughter Kelly at Cameron Dance have not a clue of how to teach dance at all and quite frankly wonder how they obtained any certificate from the RAD admistration...the issue is they lack integrity at Cameron dance and now that I have had this experience I hope to let other parents know to only go the the BEZ for dance training, Langley Dance for RAD ballet - if that is important to you Ms. Jennifer is an amazing teacher there, and Celestina Popa in Maple Ridge for gymnastics training...either Gems or VAS for cheer training - not XTREME Cheer as they are losing all of their cheer team this year to Gems because they too are like Cameron Dance and are just taking money from parents. It is awful to be living in a world where businesses such as Cameron Dance exist and lack such integrity - they have no care but to take your money from you as long as possible and for as much as possible. But that is what makes them complete fraudsters at Cameron Dance is that they lack the same integrity of someone who has danced and knows dance as most dancers are meticulous with teaching properly and I hope to help out other parents in the community that are looking for great places to go. The Bez teaches acting, contemporary, and other dance styles you need to fully develop as a dancer and artist.
