Went in for some organ meat that is hard to find in chain stores and too expensive in bougie butcher stores, this place has the best prices I can find anywhere. Also has a selection of other meat cuts, sauces, snacks, Asian veggies, and live seafood, most of which have the best prices I can find. Smooth interactions with the butchers and cashier as well. Sure the place is less well organized or formal like those monopolistic chain stores, but a local store, a plus, with the best prices, a plus, sure gets my business.

Fong is super knowledgeable and the coolest butcher I've met! I get all of my grocery shopping done here since I am following a carnivore diet. Simple, and he has the best prices I have found in Edmonton. Stay away from the expensive grocery stores and check this place out. Support your local Butcher!

Best butcher in the city, Phong Luu is the man. Not just meat here, they have produce, frozen foods and dry goods as well.

This one is kind of a gem within so many butcher shops in Edmonton. You can order the pig head, ox head or even sheep head here I think. Very good quality of meat with cheaper price than Costco or Walmart or Lucky 97 whatsoever. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly. When my friend went somewhere to dig out more for her items and I was at the counter, she didn't rush me and even say do not rush her

Our go to butcher shop for basically everything. From daily meats to different meat and organ cuts that are difficult to find they have it. Weird interactions from staff sometimes but when the owner(younger guy in the back) is there it is perfect.

Phong Luu is the best person to deal with. Meat is always fresh and price is one of the best in town.

Kim Fat meats are excellent. Never had a bad piece of meat. Owner takes pride in his business. I've always buy my brisket meat and slice thinned meat from them for my pho. The prices are very reasonable and I would say for the quality of the cut you get, it would be slightly cheaper than big box stores meat.Place is not your big box store where the face of the package looks nice, but open it up and it's all fat underneath. Great presentation and quality when you buy from here.I have to try out the hot cooked foods one day. Only heard good things about the food.

Kim Fat Market is a wonderful hidden gem that more people need to uncover. An old school family owned butcher shop that is true to their craft. Offering premium quality cuts of meat, live fish and shell fish at unbelievable value below the typical prices seen at supermarkets. Meat is always fresh and never frozen or plumped.We found other butchers to have high prices so like most people we used to buy our meat from Costco, thinking we were getting the best value. However after discovering Kim Fat Market we get premium butcher shop quality at lower prices than we were paying at Costco or any grocery store.Also we love the friendly welcoming family owned atmosphere, nothing is better when going to the market for meat feels like visiting your friend or neighbour.I highly recommend Kim Fat Market to anyone. It’s always a wonderful shopping experience and great value for your money. Also parking is free!

Amazing customer service, everyone was helpful and accommodating. Their take out food is also really delicious. Good selection of meats at a great price. Will definitely be coming here more often for our grocery needs ☺️
