Grand Forks Municipal Campground
Great muni campground, trying to recover from devastating floods in May. Full svce sites. Pull thru & back in. Today, Jul 23/2018, we were given a site free of charge - toilets, shwrs not yet open due to flood damage, but all sites are level and clean. DONATIONS greatly appreciated - drop by City Hall to donate and wish Grand Forks well. Come on folks, let's help out!!

gravel pads between 2 roadways so it was a busy place. rv park is part of the city park so there was alwas something interesting going on. huge grass field with washrooms and a nice clean river opposite the field. easy walk to town. nice host. park was a little over priced i thought

Grand Forks Municipal Campground
This is a great little campground right within the city limits of Grand Forks; it’s a great place to stay for a night or two if driving through. The lady working in the office was super nice and the grounds and bathrooms were very clean and the grass was all green. You can walk into town for dinner and coffee or you can easily hop on to the trans Canada trail for a bike ride. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night and the one thing I will note is the mill across the river started operating pretty early Monday morning but the noise was not so bad that I wouldn’t return if driving through the area again.

Grand Forks Municipal Campground
Check in process was good. Never did receive codes for washrooms( good thing we are self contained). Campsite was filthy, I picked up at least 25 cigarette butts and a variety of other peoples garbage. Obviously they never look at the sites between visitors. Camp host never checked on us once even tho they drove by number just times. Back in site was right up against a cement wall with apartments over top. Pull thru perhaps a better option. Also perhaps cutting down all the weeds would make a difference. Nice green park area and the river was lovely and refreshing in the middle of a heat wave!

Grand Forks Municipal Campground
Cute, well maintained, small municipal RV park, almost right on the water. There are 10 back in sites (beware: door opening to the full sun - most of the day!) and 10 pull-through sites (door opening to glorious shade!). They are fenced in between, so nicely private. We stayed Jun 25/26/27th- this is a Mecca for our bike rides! First day we had an amazing country ride on the two lane well paved roads all around the area. then we will try the Trans Canada bike trail…EDIT: Came for one night and stayed for three! Couldn’t fit all the biking in we wanted to do!

Grand Forks Municipal Campground
An oasis. Quiet the night we were there. So quiet you could hear the deer munching the grass. Lots of deer wandering around. Friendly staff to help us get checked in. And the best part: the washrooms and showers. So clean! You expect a campground shower to be a bit dingy. Not so. It was a new-looking shower surround and so clean! In these times of Covid, you even had your own spray cleaner in case you wanted to give everything a once-over. I will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great little R V park, sites small but ok...close to town for walking..people walking through camp grounds who are not staying there..suggest locking things up at night.

Grand Forks Municipal Campground
Very cute campground. Well maintained. There is a water park, grass field and bmx track next to it. We tried all three. Also very close to town and lots of room for large trailers. We really enjoyed our time in Grand Forks.
