It is very hard to beat Rideouts!Not only are they a local company, (so you are supporting your own economy) they service what they sell. Prices are competitive, but the service is on another level. - why would anyone even bother going to a big box store?!

I tried to return a tool that didnt suit my needs, I was treated with the most disrespect I've ever seen given to a customer. If the return went smoothly I was going to buy something that day that better suited me, but the way I was treated made me leave the place in awe of what happened. Now I'm buying my tools online so I dont risk being treated like a child. I would not recommend going here at all. I've spent over 3k there in a few months and I dont deserve to be treated the way I was. I still have to buy a new cabinet saw, dust collection, band saw, planer, and many more. My business will not deal with rideouts ever again.I should also add, that I really want to shop there because I have had very good service with all employees, Just one time really turned me off

Purchased a Husqvarna 450 chainsaw today from rideout tools, although the dealer that I previously dealt with, and is now retired, recommended Melvins in Tor Cove. However rideouts was closer and I knew the saw I wanted so I arranged to buy the saw over the phone and immediately thereafter went to pick it up. The guy I bought the saw from never came out of the office but left the close to the sales clerk. He did not know much about the operation of the saw and could not answer any of my questions. They tested the saw before I got there and the fuel used was from the 3 tins of mixed fuel I had to buy to extent my warranty @ a cost of $30.00. Of course they did not run that by me! In short it was a terrible experience which left me wondering if I am being treated like this having just spent $500.00 what kind of service will I get if I have trouble with the saw. Hopefully this Husqvarna is as good as the one I had previously and I will not need to go back. Definitely do not recommend this Business!

Worst service ever!! Extremely expensive to the point where repairs would be the same price as a new snowblower. Said no to the repairs and they returned it basically disassembled with a delivery charge of $123.
