best prices, this place has everything. I seen some glasses in Canadian tire for almost 30, I thought lets see if steel city has them and they did for 4.99 great staff, especially the wonderful lady of a certain age with dark hair never met someone so nice and helpful

I have never written a bad review for a business before. However the behaviour of the store clerk today was quite disappointing. I called ahead at 3:45pm asking for braided hanging wire, I was told if I arrive before 4pm (closing) that they would have it in store. I arrived at 3:55pm and the clerk had already closed the till, stating that she goes by the ‘till time’ which was 5 minutes ahead. She then promptly locked the store (at 3:57pm) and left. Her behaviour was disrespectful and not befitting of a local community fixture. As a longtime Kirkendall resident, I will not be shopping here again and will be sharing my experience with others in the Kirkendall community.

So sad to hear this place is closing soon , it was nice to be welcomed in with a smile amazing friendly staff . Tons of super deals and hard to find anywhere we else stuff this store will be missed by lots!!!!

Incredibly full of useful overstock - even some hilarious made for TV selection. I've found my bamboo cutting board and silicone kitchen utensils here. Hardware smell gives me a sick feeling if I browse for too long.

Great place, great prices, good selection, clean store, organized & happy helpful staff. I go back here for everything. I highly recommend this place.

Pretty interesting store they have a lot of random things from camping equipment to stationary to working tools such as hammers. They also have food! Little bit of everything. Some of the prices seemed high but others were a steal! Worth checking out if you are in the hood.

Hamilton's best kept shoppers secret. Hand written price tags and old school layout make this a great traditional Hamilton place to shop.They always receive new stock and I've never been disappointed. Friendly staff!

Great for odds and ends; the products are higher quality than a dollar store type place. Many great brand names as well, hobbiest electronics, good car repair and maintenance stuff, housework, tools, etc. Usually go there if I want something random.Prices are fair as well. Only thing I don't like is that they have lots of useless things, but they are catering to a wide audience though.

i cant even describe how great these ladies are - they know my name and ALWAYS have treated me with the most respect out of ANY store ive been to . if i ever catch anybody stealing from or damaging things at the store i will never hesitate to stop them and inform staff . il protect this place with my life i pray that they can stay in business .Super caring and helpfull staff .Just thinking about that store comforts me.. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE STORE ! possibly favorite place within 3 hours of me.
