Do not trust this guy! He’s a scammer not a watchmaker. Maybe 50 years ago. There were lots of red flag when I saw him n his place but I always like to give the underdog a chance.I left him my omega watch my father left me n he’s giving me more excuses than u can shake a stick at not able to complete the watch. The most extreme is his heart stop but is able to work on my watch the next day. Now more money for parts. He himself said u can’t judge a book by its cover, that’s what I thought but yes u can. I’m sorry I didn’t read all the bad reviews so please don’t trust him with ur heirloom, take it to a reputable place. How this guy is still in business I don’t know, his google search is right up there! One last thing there’s a reason why his picture is blurred.

A good experience! My watch is ‘ROSSINI’ and the owner said it is his first time to change battery for a ROSSINI. He is a kind and cool man! My watch works well and the price is reasonable. Thank sooooo much!! I am really satisfied with the service.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR WATCH HERE!HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Let's list all the things that this guy screwed up on my omega for a simple polishing work:1. He left big chunks (1-3mm size) of plastic in the dial (IKR, why do you even need to open it for polishing?)2. He scratched the case in 4 different places, not small scratches, I mean deep scratches! Like he was trying to open the case with a crowbar.3. He scratched the hour and minute hands in 5 places (confirmed by another watch repairman)4. He left fingerprints and marks on all the indices on the dial.5. He LOST the second hand on my tag heure (see update)6. He caused IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE to my omega watch which he attempted to fix, but ended up making it worse. I didn’t want to waste time arguing with him, so I paid him and took back my watch to prevent further nightmares.Positives: He is a nice person, and generally friendly, but he himself admitted that he had cataracts in his eye and cannot see clearly. So if you don’t mind someone who is half-blind to fix your watch, then you should use him.I took my watch Mr. W Watch repair and he was able to lessen the damage, but the scratches on the hands were irreversible.UPDATE: While he has destroying my omega, I left a tag heure for an estimate at the same time. After I realized what I sham he was, I asked for my tag heure back and cancelled the estimate. It took him 3 days to give it back to me, and when I picked it up, i didn't notice anything wrong. But after closer examination when I went home, I noticed that the SECOND HAND WAS MISSING! When I showed him the picture, he refused to take responsibility and said You didn't notice it when you picked it up." At that point I had it and I had to write this review.BOTTOM LINE

WARNING!! Do NOT bring your watches here. I took 7 watches in for simple battery replacements. 1 watch was ruined and is now garbage. 2 of the 3 watches that were actually ready on time stopped working before I got them home. When I arrived to pick up the watches I was informed that 4 watches needed cleaning because even with new batteries, they still didn't work(this turned out not to be true). They are so unorganized that he had all of my watches with backs off and with pieces removed sitting on an office chair pushed under the counter. This story can go on with more details, but suffice to say, I took back my watches literally in pieces in a plastic baggy. I took them elsewhere and had them all put back together within 60 mins. DO NOT BRING YOUR WATCHES HERE!!!!

Do Not take anything to this person. I made that mistake once and ended up having to get VPD to retrieve my watch and have another company repair the damage he'd done.

I came to BC Watch Repair for the repair of my 15 years old original Movado watch bracelet. Not only Mohamed fixed my lock, but he did an excellent job with polishing and washing my watch very professionally. He also explained to me how to do it without getting any water in. My bracelet and my watch look like brand new now. I am very happy with the service and definately recommend BC Watch Repair to anybody.

Peculiar business, unreliable hours and communication, suspect technical ability is limited. First impression was that it might be an eccentric but competent operation. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Wrong decision. I left 2 watches for battery changes, clear communication that they would be ready for me to pick up the next day. Never heard from them. Tried for 8 hours (!) to make contact, including going to the building but it appeared nobody was home -- the business is run out of an unmarked apartment. There was no way of leaving phone message (I tried 15 times over the 8 hours) and, no useful response to email. Finally at 8 pm I went back as I needed to catch a ferry. Was able to make contact through a ground floor window. They gave an impressive scope of bizarre excuses for their extremely poor business practices. Other reviews also mention weird explanations". With some persuasion I was able to ransom my watches (without new batteries) through the window. Next step would have been police. Caveat emptor."

He has has my antique watch for over 6 months. Now says he won't or can't repair it and if I want it back I must pay for repairs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Added Feb 8, 2022. I have finally been able to retrieve my watch...un-repaired and in pieces, with the side of the casement sawed open! Much of it missing. It took a police presence and $150 to get it back.
