Starfish Photography took our wedding photos for us and we could not have been happier! They are a lovely couple, personable, and incredibly professional. Leading up to our wedding day we kept in great communication and they were very open to our preferences and needs. They blended in seamlessly into our wedding day and made taking the photos feel effortless and natural. We truly enjoyed having them be a part of our wedding, and the photos we received were beyond incredible! We would highly recommend Starfish Photography, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I gave two stars as the owners were very friendly to work with on our wedding day. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended. I received my photos one month after my wedding and no editing had been done. Two of my friends that got married the same day as me got their fully edited photos after two weeks (from different companies) so I was a bit shocked. Then when I inquired about editing I was told that if I wanted edited photos that there would be an extra fee. In the contract I signed it said basic editing was included and had no mention about extra fees for it. I was also told by the owner that they “don’t do magazine style photos” when I inquired about basic editing. As I looked through the photos I noticed that my groomsmen was cropped out of a bridal party photo, this was corrected the next day luckily. Also in all of the “walking down the aisle” photos the second photographer is in them. I’ve voiced my concerns with the owner and provided feedback to include exactly what they provide in the contract including the extra fees. While I understand that their pricing is cheaper than average I feel like I overpaid for unedited photos. A positive thing however is that they included a few extra photos that we didn’t choose but they wanted us to have which I thought was a kind thing to do. Hopefully this will be a good learning lesson going forward and that they will increase transparency of pricing and what’s included so that this doesn’t happen to other couples.

We are so thankful we went with Starfish Photography. They were so fantastic! They are a couple and are taking photos from different angles.They made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We had lots of fun. We had two weddings (eloped and had a small family ceremony)... they were so awesome and we have photos to last a lifetime. Highly Recommend!!

Lighting was tough that day but Raluca did a great job of finding some great spots for our professional photographs! Fast turnaround with editing and the cost was very reasonable, I would recommend to anyone!

I am delighted we found Starfish Photography for our wedding. Raluca and Billy are fantastic! We had planned a long day including a tea ceremony in the morning, a western-style ceremony in the afternoon, and a reception in the evening. They customized their services to accommodate us and were incredibly professional throughout! Raluca was with me all day, capturing every moment. She has a great eye for dramatic, romantic photo locations. Raluca and Billy gave clear directions to us, resulting in gorgeous wedding photos. They did wonders with the light, and posing for them felt very natural. They were great at capturing a mix of documentary-style and posed photos. Communication has been impeccable and timely. Our wedding was on a Saturday, and by the next Tuesday, they already had the preliminary photos ready for us to review and choose our favourites for editing - only three days later! I am so happy with their services that I have recommended Starfish Photography to my brother for his upcoming wedding, and I look forward to seeing them again there!
