Shoppers Drug Mart

This has been my go-to grocery store after my late night work. I would say everything inside the store is still great - a good variety of stuff to choose from and the staff very helpful. But lately I notice there are some homeless people loitering by the entrance area, usually 2 to 4 as a small group, some of them even having fun in inhaling stuff" using foils! And the whole outside area stink with urine. I felt very disturbing and somewhat unsafe. I don't know if they will eventually setting up some tents there. Shopper Drug mangers

There was this one lady at the beauty boutique with a high ponytail and black hair. She made me incredibly uncomfortable as I was just looking at skin care products.I picked a few up items and went to check out some other items when she came up to me and asked if I wanted to pay for my items at the beauty boutique. I politely declined and said that I wanted to shop around first but she kept following me. When I went into an isle, she would walk infront of the isle so she could watch me. It was very noticeable as she “slowly” came closer to me. I felt like I was misjudged as a shoplifter just because I was wearing a puffer jacket and had a tote bag with me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and left my items because of her.I know that she was specifically watching me because when I left, I stood outside shoppers which has clear windows and I could see her searching for me in the isles. I went to shop around Richmond centre and came back to shoppers and stood outside it for awhile to see if she would frantically search around, but no. She didn’t. She was back in her Beauty boutique area and even after standing for ten minutes, she did not move an inch from her spot. In my conclusion, I felt like I was treated as a criminal even though I am not, just because of what I was wearing.

I am immediately a fan of any Transit accessible 24/7 store, the only reason for four stars instead of five as I am not so much a fan of feeling followed by loss prevention as I just try to do my regular grocery shopping on my way home from work. Still 4 out of 5 as I understand that they're just doing their job, and I do appreciate having a store that I can actually go to that works with my not so convenient scheduled work hrs!

They called security on me, then after searching through the bag and checking every item on the receipt, they realized I paid for all my items. Oops. I realize the need for loss prevention, but at least be sure of theft before jumping to accusations. This store clearly does not know where it actually needs their security.

Very very bad customer service, the stuff was being rude to us. Asked for taking passport photos, but the print out looked very grey which made the person looked miserable. When we were deciding whether to retake the photo or not, the staff rolled her eyes at us and said don’t waste her time she had to go. If you really want an awful customer experience and pay $22.99 for two poorly taken photos definitely go there.

While Shoppers offers the ‘submit prescription by photo’ feature on the app. When arriving to pick up the prescriptions, the pharmacy assistant refused to dispense my meds because the prescription wasn’t the original copy. Huh?? It was given to me by my doctor electronically, so printing it out wouldn’t be the ‘original’ either and would only accept it if my doctor faxed the pharmacy. Neither did they attempt to contact me about any issues with the prescriptions. It’s been more of a barrier than a convenience. Didn’t experience this issue with other pharmacies before.Update: two days later out of nowhere I receive a text and a call informing me that the prescription was ready for pick up. It’s really contradicting because the first pharmacist said they couldn’t read the prescription and said it was invalid. Then suddenly it was ready for pick up even though I didn’t reattempt to get my prescription filled. When asked why the inconsistency, an answer wasn’t given. Just a shrug on the should. I’m just as confused too.

You have an Indian middle-aged man with long hair tied in braids working the late-night shift at your store. Every time I approach him with a question, his attitude is extremely poor! He carries himself as if the world owes him something and never displays any patience in responding to customers. His answers always consist of I don't know

Don't buy electronics here because they can't be returned. Bought a iPhone charging cable here which was made by Targus, not Apple, but they said no returns because Apple." But it's Targus

Very patient and took at the time to help us pick gifts out. When there was an issue with our purchase (special deal but going through), they took even more time to make sure it worked, refunding it and working with us to purchase it again in the right way. Great experience

Worst experience I've ever had at this store. As I was leaving the store at the front entrance this old lady who works there Accused me of stealing and demanded me to show her my Receipt which you guys never do. Why do I need to show my receipt when you have almars that go off if you never paid for it. You can't just Falsely accused someone just based on a Hunch. Thus happened on June 8th 2023 at 2pm at the front entrance where you can exit 24 hours.
